I have been working steadily to create a "core line" of carnauba waxes. Carnaubavore has its place as my first production wax, now with a completely different wax strand (think DNA) developed I would like to expand my offerings with my next wax. SON1C Wax ProtoWax 93 is the codename from the Waxatory and will receive it's proper name once it is tweaked and slated for production estimated May 2014.

To enter this giveaway please tell me what your favorite part of my home brew wax thread is, or what you found most interesting --- all I ask of the winners is to create a write-up / review on this wax

+ Bonus Beading

I think my favorite part is EVERYTHING. From the time you first started the brewing project, I was like a enthusiast pouring and mixing so many different pots of wax, just to get to that perfect one. That is something to me admire about. And when SON1C Wax Carnaubavore was finally released, this dude did it!!!

And you know i will post up a review =)

To me the best part of your homebrew threads Son1c is getting to see your efforts unfold. Its inspiring that you're developing your own line, and want to give others a chance to be part of the process. It really gave me a smile when I noticed AG was carrying Carnaubavore. :props:

With my first spring detailing just around the corner I'd love to incorporate SON1C Wax ProtoWax 93 into it and post a review!

Thanks for the opportunity to be part of the process.

That its home brew! And it looks like it is a quality product.

Of course a review will happen

My favorite part of the threads is absolutely getting to see the process behind tweaking your creations. So interesting to me because you see how the different elements affect every aspect of application, removal, and durability of the wax you make.

And I agree to write a review if chosen!

Bonus: the wax would be a part of my spring detail on this car if I use it.

For me the whole thread just shows how much passion you have for the products you are creating!

My favorite part is that you took something that you where passionate about and made it a reality!!!
Plus I would love to see what it would look like on my very dirty (right now) DD... And a proper review would be done.

My favorite part is that you are constantly formulating, testing and developing new products.

I can't smell wax through the internet, so my favorite part is definitely beading shots.

And I'm still waiting for a quid pro quo sample :xyxthumbs:

My favorite part of your home brew thread was seeing all the different 'versions' and the different % of waxes/oils/etc that you put into them. A very interesting thread...

And of course I'd love to try your new home brew and do a review on it!

My favorite part is just watching the process you go through to crate a great product. Thanks

Drew,

For me, it's seeing how poor so much effort into something that you are truly passionate about. The thread in essence is an inspiration. I also love seeing how much time and effort really goes into perfecting a product. It gives a total understanding of true product development.

I've always loved learning how things are made and then doing it myself. That curiosity brought me into hobbies ranging from brewing my own beer, hacking satellite TV years ago, car detailing, cooking/BBQ, saltwater fish tanks, etc.

So I got a kick out of watching the play by play of your progression from a make your wax at home kit to full on OCD revision after revision after revision. Your curiosity and knowledge has grown hand in hand. Not only that but you've immersed yourself completely investing a lot of money, time, and effort. Just the other day I noticed your giveaway with the detailbox site and while I missed the cut-off for a sample, I still subscribed to your channel and signed up for the detail box anyway.

Basically whether or not I get a sample It's been fun to watch from a distance this progression over the past year. Keep it up!

As a chemist, I love how you experiment with all the different ratios of everything to see what works and what doesn't. You are your own research and development group! To see your efforts come into fruition where you are actually marketing and selling your own hard work is an awesome accomplishment!

My favorite part of the thread is how you turned your passion into a legitimate business. I wish I could figure out something like that I wanted to do...I hate my job and loveeee detailing, but the area I live in is cheap and detailing to these people is going through the auto-wash.

Good work man, seriously inspiring.

I like that you've been able to bend each recipe to get the results that you're after for each one. It's almost like making the perfect margarita, only much more satisfying I'd think :-) And you get to do it while spending time doing what you love (detailing cars). Keep up the good work Drew!

You are like the mad professor from back to the future!!

I read your threads and would like to learn a lot more as here the the UK we don't get cutting edge waxes which is a real shame.

the best part of the thread was reading through all of your trial and errors you went through and you followed it all the way through to a finished product and now a complete line of waxes. i think a lot of people would have stopped after a few errors.

Hi Drew...

What I really appreciated in your home-brew thread was evidenced by your patience...
in not only arriving at a Wax-product that met and then exceeded your expectations...
but also in tolerating and then providing answers to the host of protracted questions of mine.

To me:
The above exhibits more examples, of what I believe to be a fair and honest representation, of your true character.

Best Wishes for your further success.

Bob

For me I like how your motivation for detailing has led you to create all these prototypes of the waxes. Shows true dedication and passion and the thread allows us to live vicariously through you!

Would gladly write a review if chosen
