I only tried Souveran on my black 08 C6. I produced a deep, warm glow. SSII I only used on Silver. It seemed to give a brighter look, but it could have been the color.Hey mark how would you compare SSII with Souveran? SSII is one I have not had a chance to try out yet.

Interesting. I didn't think that there were any products that you hadn't tried yet!
You mean you haven't tried black magic carnauba?LOL there are MANY that I haven't tried yet.
Not sure about the palms of your hands or what solvents are in each wax as that probably varies somewhat per product, but a quick search on the internet will quickly indicate that solvents are readily absorbed into your skin and can cause organ damage and dermatitis. Again, due to VOC compliance, there probably aren't any heavy duty solvents in these waxes to be concerned about, but I'm no chemist or biologist so take that for what you will.rops:
I will totally agree with this.I get much more enjoyment out of applying a wax (again, especially a high quality wowo like Fuzion, Dodo Juice etc.) by hand than I do by machine. Call it being "intimate" with the paint or whatever you want, I enjoy it. I've gone so far as to apply Dodo Juice Supernatural with my *bare* hands (no applicator). Talk about being involved and connected to the waxing process!
Waxing the car is one of my very favorite parts of detailing. It's the final step after all the long hours of machine polishing, so I look forward to putting the machine away and just using my hands. Applying it by machine actually reduces the pleasure and experience for me.
To quote Dennis Miller: "....but that's just me. I could be wrong."
Stupid question of the day: I have always assumed that Souveran is a pure carnauba. Is it? Or is it a hybrid?
OMG Rob how could you be so stupid
No wax is "pure carnauba" but no, its not a hybrid like Fuzion.
I just wasn't sure if it had polymers in it.
You want some polymers, I'll give you some polymers right up side the head :bat:
Speaking of polymers and nubas I just put a layer of Fuzion on the MaliblueMade me feel better about loosing the bottle of black onyx tire gel.
Oh yeah, by the way, about that gallon of Black Onyx Tire Gel that you dropped, resulting in it breaking apart and flying across the concrete, I meant to respond by saying that......
oh, I just can't stop  at WestEnd's response, which was:
