Fully Detailed TSX

Thanks! I wish I lived in FL. It got down to 23 today, good thing the cold doesn't really bother me much. But I rather be somewhere warm and work on cars.

It's awesome to live in FL., But it does get cold here, for the month of December we had 17 days below freezing. But hey no snow, we did get snow flurries last Sunday :buffing: It was 18 on Monday, I know it's worse for alot of other people but eveybody thinks it dont get old here :xyxthumbs: Just got power bill $150.00 higher then normal. Ok Ok It's going to be 75 tomorrow Boy I love FL. Im the MAN

I'm going try to see if I got time/money for a trip for FL. this summer. Last time I visited Fl was 4 years ago and I had a lot of fun. NJ is so boring.

Great job!

Metallics(any color) are such a joy to worth with. Hides any micro-marring very well!

Haha, I'm sure most people on this site can relate to that

On Christmas I was trying waterless wash on my car, and my next door neigbor was like your working on christmas?!?!

Thanks 07 z-oh-6, I had a lot of fun detailing the car because it was my first time using the DA with M205 and it looked perfected.

Only problem I had was with the sealant so hard to remove, left streaks all over cars because I coudln't remove all of it. But now it's all gone after couple washes.

Happy new years everyone!!! Hope 2011 brings us lots of money and joy!!

Very nicely done, and I will have to agree it is nice to live in Florida except for this past month... no way I would have washed a car in December, it was crazy cold!!!
Love the TSX!

Only if I had a huge garage with heat, I would be the happiest man alive. The snow is the only thing I hate about winter.

Once it snow there no work to be done because you have to wait till most of the snow melts and have dry streets untill you can work or it would just get dirty again.

Going be working on friend Lancer tomorrow, will write and post pics tomorrow. Going try to write from start to finish with every detail.

first great job on the car, it looks really good. you mentioned the klasse sealant glaze was hard to remove and you would be right. just remember super thin coats and if you run into some heavy spots when removing hit it with a quick detailer and it will buff right off and it wont remove the protection just the excess. hope this is helpful to you and keep up the good work. :xyxthumbs:

Thanks I got everything loaded already for tom job. Brought extra detailing spray lol.
Going try sealant with DA tomorrow and see how it goes.

Cool. that's how I usually apply klasse w/DA just spread it thin it takes a lot less than you might think to cover a panel. Don't forget your gloves if it's still cold. LoL. I used an insulating glove liner and put latex gloves over top to keep dry worked pretty good but I also wasn't detailing in sub freezing temps. That dedication. :-)

Thanks for the idea of glove lining. I'm going try to find one before I help my friend out. It's very hard working outside when your hands turn numb lol.

Updated!

:updated:

Yesterday I received a package with my 845 so I had to try it. I did a power pressure wash and then did a dp waterless wash. I then applied 845 by hand and then hand buffed it out.

I couldn't find the thread on what does you car look like now so I'll just post it here.

Here are some finished pics.

845 is great stuff car still looks good. Were you able to find those liners? Just wanted to know if it worked for you if you did.

I just used my northface thin gloves, under some dish washing gloves. This keep my hand warm if I'm doing 2 bucket wash in 30 degree weather.

Yeah that's what I was talking about thin glove liners. Cool glad you found something that worked

Love the car! I want one of those as a daily driver bad. Looks great man!

slickooz, have you thought about removing the badges (acura & tsx)? it's pretty easy to do, with some fishing line. it would look alot cleaner and you wouldn't have to worry about any towels or wash media snagging on them. you can always save the badges and use some double sided tape to put them back on at some later point if you feel the need. just a thought...

I have thought about it, but didn't know how to safely remove them. Might give it a try in the summer. It would look a lot more cleaner.
