Hi guys, yesterday I was lucky enough to have someone let me burrow their garage for a few hours.

It was so cold yesterday, while I was washing the car the water kept on freezing on me. Cleaned the wheels with the FREE bushes that AG give away. (you guys are GREAT! :dblthumb2:)

Then moved it into the garage and started claying. The garage was small and I had a lot of things in there, moving lights, Griot's DA, and my materials wasn't easy.

I just bought this car new 3 months ago, and there were lightly swirls all over the car. So I started working on it with white pads and 205.

Did a test area and it removed all the swirls. Some spots needed more passing and some needed orange pads.

I then removed all the dusting with Meguiar's detailing spray. Then started to apply sealant. Used Klasse high gloss sealant, this stuff was very hard to remove.

Now its time to open Souveran, the wax smelled very good. It very true what people say that this wax is like butter, wipe off so easily.

I don't have any before pics because I started around 8 p.m. And there wasn't enough light to get any good pics.

This took about 12 hours. Is this normal?

Here are some pics, hope you enjoy!

Looks great, nice crisp clean reflections.

I know you have put alot of work into reading these forums to gather the knowledge you needed to get the job done and it really shows.

You should be happy and proud of your work.

Excellent job! You're my new hero. Thanks for sharing your work.:xyxthumbs:

Thanks vdubbeet. It sucks working in the cold though. If you have any question feel free to ask. I'm still a newb but being here helps out a lot. Oh and Welcome to Auto Geek Online!

Your TSX turned out really well! What was the temp when you were washing it? 12 hours sounds about right for your first time.

It was around 30. The water turned into ice while I was washing it. The worst part was my finger felt numb a couple times. I prob should of worn gloves.

What is the normal work hour for this?

1. washed car.
2. clayed .
3. polished with 205 whole car.
4. sealant.
5. waxed .
6. cleaned windows, mirror.
7. Vacuumed.
8. brushed vents.
9. cleaned wheels and tires.
10. cleaned matts with apc+.
11. polished chrome trim.
12. dressed tires.
13. wiped down all door jams.
14. wet sanded couple areas, because of over spray.
15. Last but not least took pics. Im the MAN

There was prob couple more steps that I cant remember now.

What did you wet sand with? Also what kinda overspray was it? Factory clear?

I used 1500 grit. There was some spots near the door jams that had over spray prob from when I went to body shop to get something fixed. (Someone backed into me a month ago.) Then I went over it with compound M95 then polish M205.

There was another spot where there was over spray on the other side of the car.. weird. But didn't need sand paper for it, I just went over it with white pad and 205 and it took care of it.

Great job, looks beautiful.

Thanks! I wish I lived in FL. It got down to 23 today, good thing the cold doesn't really bother me much. But I rather be somewhere warm and work on cars.

Should I apply another layer of Souveran? Would apply it with DA be very wasteful?

Looks great, always nice to have a garage to get out of the cold even though the garage in my new place is freezing

Yeah that was just a one day thing. I do have a garage but my family put put everything in it. Going try to convince them if I can move it to a rent space area and I will pay for it.

Thanks BigAl3. I really like the TSX, fun car to drive compared to my previous 4runner.

Great job! Looks awesome. I really like the TSX, despite what others say about the styling. Nice ride!

Thanks, yeah it's a fun car to drive. People think I'm crazy because I take good care of my car.
