"G R E A T" Idea for next contest

Was late leaving for our trip to the Mall. I could not drive the ragtop today for as I was chosen designated driver of my aunts/uncles. One ,who flew in from Jamaica, was freezing in our 50* windy temps. along the Tidal Basin.


The Excursion


Onward to the National Mall, in Washington,D.C.

Trying to get there, but traffic was gritty.

On such a glorious and sunny winters' day,

many paid homage, some with bouquets.

The entourage,excluding me,were five in their seventies.
 
Work today was such a strain
Had a 6 hour test, painful on the brain
Oh how I wanted the day to end
Just had a beer to try to make mends
It would be really nice if work was contingent on rain

... I know that was a stretch guys, but seriously I did have a 6hr long test at work today and I worked 13hrs. Im tired lol!

Found a new pastime to break the boredom,

posting limericks and such-just fighting the humdrum.

A common pastime with others to share,

much wasted scrap-papers, I must declare.

To this new adventure I must succumb.

How about it AG staff I know some of you must have an assistant or two.

Had a great day myself. Tomorrow's a different story though. I got a ton of work to compile for P.G. County Public Schools. Won't be lurking around here much longer.

And I have to say, OH MY OH MY....we have a new member to Team Limerick. S I R F L A S H ! It was a nice surprise to see him jumping on the limerick wagon. Welcome aboard.

As Bob has said membership is free...I think the only requirement to being a member in good standing is the posting of 1 weekly limerick!

Was polishin' Mag wheels, they went up like a flare.
There's the firemen, draggin' hoses from their trucks.

Why is my life so full of procrastination,

To be done, finished, and complete, an abberation?

Hours of reading and posting on Autogeek,

with the deadline approaching, all seems so bleak.

Cramming all of Sunday,into the night-my damnation.
 
This week's weather forecast calls for above average temp.
I've heard it all before, though, from a meteorologist Shemp.
Suppose if their predictions are actually "spot-on"?
Better get busy and finish the Wife's Jeep...Right On!
Still no need for "weed", (as Flash 'suggested'), or to: Score some hemp.

Before the F-150 the was the Ranger.

Todays F150 is a game changer,

17 city and 23 highway.

Perfect on offroad or even on Broadway,

the blue oval is my banner.
 
A crazy day with 10 cars to detail

Trained a new guy today who probably thought "What the Hell"

Poor guy doesn't realize the job he signed up for

He probably thought Ferrari, Lamborghini, Exotics Galore!

Instead worked his tail off on daily drivers until off his arms fell.

Ashton Kutchers' Schmidt- regrettable.
