Hi guys long time lurker, learned an awful lot from you guys over the years. I purchased HD Adapt right before it was discontinued. But none the less I'm having an issue with Adapt drying out quickly. I'm using an orange 5.5" LC flat pad on a Flex 3401 working at speed 4 to 5. I tried priming the pad, then read here not to prime the pad and went with 8 pea side drops on a dry pad in both instances it seemed to dry out quickly after only 3 2'by 2' passes and then it's a bear to get off. I tried a slight mist of water, same thing. I tried working it less (before it dries out)and I don't get all the defects out. Tried working it longer with light pressure towards the end of the last pass until you can hardly see the product on the vehicle and removed easier I would have thought that the there would be some hazing. I will say the finished look is almost LSP ready. I think it's a great product I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I see other guys saying it has long workability. Im working on a 2014 Black Dodge 1500. Hope you can make some sense of my ramble. Thanks in advance.
