:iagree:The large stroke of the Rupes does more "correction" or work than a machine with an 8mm stroke direct drive or not IMHO. It also will finish better and is easier to use every time.

Does anyone have an insight on the Rupes, should I go 15 or 21? Seems like 21 would be hard to work with.
Go with the Duetto! Being as you already have the big forced rotation of the 3401, why not go with the LHR12 as your more 'flexible' machine.Take a look at my show and shine thread on the Camry we did last weekend. That car was THRASHED and it was done start to finish with the Duetto, a yellow Rupes pad and Megs D300. (Bumpers and rockers were done with a GG6 with a 4" orange LC CCS pad by CarMomma.) However, everything else was done with the new Duetto.
You don't have to worry about the washer mod, don't have to worry about the larger machine, don't have to worry about changing out the backing plate to get the larger machine to work with a smaller pad, just use a 5½" or 6" pad and crank it up. It can be run literally with one hand. It'll correct great, has great balance, and doesn't vibrate near as bad as the PC or GG6. (Which after all day running it your hands sure know the difference!)rops:
Awesome thank you

Just my opinion.
