I bought a WORX 20V Powershot cordless power cleaner, anyone use one?

Even though I'm down in Cancun I'm keeping an eye on my Worx power washed, it's out for delivery by the USPS. I hope they get to the office before they close!

Really looking forward to trying it out on my car this coming Friday night, could be the beginning of a whole new level of clean for me

Roger, get off the forum.
Go get those two pretty ladies of yours and get to the beach.
Enjoy the sand, warm water and palm trees while you can.

Well the little one is with Grandma and Grandpa, so no worries there. Sadly the weather has gotten worse everyday we've been here Right now as we're having breakfast it's pouring rain.

My powerwasher has been delivered though!

Haven't used this
I bought the cordless car aid months ago.. finally used it today lol..
Works well for final rinsing(less psi then garden hose) or with solution of rinseless wash
.more so for wheels
But at 8.5 gallons it's not as portable as I'd like..makes me think I wouldn't care for lugging out a cordless sun jose 800psi pressure washer either.

This seems like a nice light weight cordless solution..I'd probably only use it for wheels and wheel wells and carry a bucket of rinseless.

I plan on using it for the tires, wheels and wells for the most part. I did buy the optional bottle pack and one is for soaps, so I'll see how it goes and adjust accordingly.

After watching the videos from Dallas Auto Detailing (Scott) I've been rethinking my approach some. He preaches and in a good way, that power washing is very important, I don't do it as much as I should, I stick with RW & WW's because I've lived in an apartment for so long. Scott also preaches about not using PH-balanced soaps because they don't clean as well, so I need to find a good soap that has NO WAX in it, suggestions:

I've been using mckee37 N914
Used it in the car aid too
Wonder if I could somehow fit s turbo nozzle on it
I really don't use car soap any or either
But something with slight alkaline mixed in with the rinseless could prove to help cleaning ability like F bomb

I keep a 1000 ml Kwazzer in my car filled with N914 for being out on the road but I also have a 1.25 gallon battery powered lawn sprayed to help me with my WW needs.

I expect big things from this tool and if need be, I'll be adding the turbo nozzle.

Just like the car aid..reviews about this says the pressure is less then a garden hose
Look forward to a video with the turbo nozzle

Well....I didn't see that video but what I did see seems to fit my needed but I'm pretty much expecting to buy that turbo nozzle because of what I'll need it to do for my winter needs. The video I saw with the turbo nozzle attached pretty much convinced me I'd be happy with it.

I think I'll be doing a review for this once I get it and use it

***REVIEW FOR THE WORKS POWERSHOT***

I got off of work a bit early today so I had to try this new power tool out. Both batteries were charged up, so I put one on the Powershot, the other in the provided bag, along with the hose and soap bottle (which I didn't use this time) I filled one 5 gallon bucket with a soap mix, the other with almost 5 gallons of mostly hot water, then I headed down to the garage to get started on my car.

My car had been sitting since last Wednesday night, I cleaned it before our trip but it was dusty when I went to work today, I mean REAL DUSTY, this constituted a wash for sure! I sprayed down the entire car down in the garage, everything from top to bottom, up in the wheelwells, the tires and wheels, everything. I had enough soapy water left over and used a plush edgeless mf towel to then wash the car down. I then took the hose and placed it into in the rinse water and rinsed the car down completely. At this point I had water left over so I just sprayed down the area around my car and moved items away from the wall that I keep down in the garage and cleaned around there too. The car looked real good after I dried it off and the "secret soap", combined with the Worx Powershot did a great job.

I used the long lance and provided sprayer and IMO it does have the power of standard hose but with the 5 settings you'll surely find something that fits your needs here. I feel that there's enough power to clean my car, as well as my wife's car which is always dirty, so another test is in order but I'm already planning on buying the turbo nozzle, I mean for $20.00 its a no-brainer. I originally bought this to clean my tires, wheels and wells better but now that I've cleaned my entire car with it, I feel it does a good job for me. Looking forward to the next test, maybe I'll put some soap in the optional spray bottle and see how that goes, stay "tuned".

Thanks for the review, Roger. Sounds like a good investment! :)

I started a thread about suggesting a carwash soap without wax, check it out and chime in please

i was thinking buying this and filling it up with distilled water machine at the grocery store for the final rinse. pretty similar concept to the worx...

I just received the Sunjoe SPX6000c from Amazon this afternoon. I'm going to give it a go tomorrow morning. My plan is to pre-rinse with the Sunjoe and then do a two-bucket wash. I'm not a professional detailer. I just like to wash the car 2-3x a month. I plan to use this to get some of the extra dirt and grime off of the car before a two bucket wash. I don't have access to a hose or power cord at my condo building and I plan to use it out by the loading dock. I hope it's reasonably quiet compared to a gas or heavy duty electric washer as I don't want neighbors to complain about the noise.

It seems reasonably sturdy for the price. It comes with a tiny soap container... I've read the soap output is "ehhh"though. I don't think you can expect too much foam given the .79 or so GPM and 800psi rating. I'm guessing that it will be fine for blasting off dirt and grime and also salt buildup during the winter.

I'll give a report tomorrow afternoon. I've never used a power washer before so a full review would probably be useless. Also, car doesn't have too many miles on it - it's new and not all that dirty. After I have the car coated I'm thinking it will be just fine or even a bit too much.

How much did you pay for that? I like that is has wheels & a 5 gallon bucket built into, plus it's a 40V compared to my Worx PowerShot. Looking forward to your review but that short video made me a bit jealous

Can a foam cannon or gun be used with the worx hydroshot? This thread has got me thinking about the hydroshot's winter uses. It would be awesome to be able to foam the car without taking out a hose and turning on my water supply. Can I mix 5 gallons of WGU rinseless and siphon from the bucket for a prerinse? This would be epic for a quick pretreatment followed by a rinseless wash in my garage.

I do not think the works PowerShot has enough pressure and I heard that it pulsates the pressure instead of constantly like a traditional foam Cannon or power washer does.

Ok, thank you for the input. Maybe Autogeek can make a McKee's version of the hydroshot and make it 100% detail oriented. I would throw my money at them faster than I usually do.
