After reading many posts about uttg I figured I would give it a try on my wifes 06 mustang GT. I tried it yesterday. I polished the car a few weeks ago with the wolfgang twins and then sealed it with the wg sealant and topped that with liquid soveran so the colorado red paint was looking good. The trim was looking a little faded. The uttg solved that problem and added a little sheen. The black trim and plastic side mirrors really look good after using the smallest amount of product on them. Thanks to all that reccomended it as I feel the trim finished out the overall look of the car. Have been getting many compliments on the car and my silver lghtning as well my black bike after using the previously mentioned products. I will be doing the trim and cover on my truck with uttg next. Thanks to all who provide reviews of products and guide us new to detailing in the right direction.:xyxthumbs:

And another happy customer when it comes to this great product . I assume you heard about it from Corey aka CeeDog

UTTG is a good example of "You Get What You Pay For" It is the best product in its class.

It really is the best trim product for all but the worst of the worst faded trim. The part that's even better than the looks IMO is the durability. Nothing like not having to treat your trim for an entire winter season!

i love it..i bought 2 bottles. I put 2 coats on my car back in feb..granted its a garage queen. I have washed it a good many times and even got some APC+ on the tri and it still hasnt wore off and all my trim still beads like a champ

Harry, I'm so happy to hear you gave it a shot. As you know I agree with all my friends above. It's the best trim product available.

I have to ask as I a still new to all this but what the hell is uttg? There are so many abbriviations you all use on here and when you are new like myself and many others we have no idea what you are talking about. I ask this because I am looking for a good product for dark grey trim Thanks for the info!! :)

Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus, tire & trim protectant, tire dressing, rubber protectant

Look no further Jay. The price will give you sticker shock but in the long run you save plenty of dough. Takes very little and durability is off the charts.

If you aren't happy pm me this thread a month from now and I'll buy it from you.

I also bought some and find it to be very good. I'm like most and am trying to narrow down my likes and keepers and this ones a keeper!

Thanks Cee Dog...and from reading some of your posts I will totally take your word for it.

Completely different animal IMO Mark.

Durability C4
semi permanent restoration of seriously faded Trim C4

I prefer the look of UTTG on trim that isn't real faded but I've only used C4 on one new car so maybe it just didn't look as good in that one instance. I've used it a bunch on seriously feed trim Nd in that case it's the best but the price is a huge factor for most people. That's where I think UTTG beats it.

I love UTTG but I am dying to try c4. I almost picked it up when I placed my order for G1 but decided to hold out. I am kicking myself for that one. My girlfriends wiper cowl needs some serious help and UTTG only did so much.
