Inside Griot's Garage

Probably like old Boss made buy new company with detachable chord and some other new feature. Can’t really see how youll up performance. Maybe smoother? The old ones pretty smooth but heard some say Rupes are smoother so maybe that.

Awesome specs and price just expected it to continue with the BOSS line.

Update: their site has updated and now has details on incorporating BOSS tech in a G9 format.

Wasn’t expecting those prices. Pretty sweet!

Interesting read if you pull up their online manual- to boost smooth operation, they have different backing plate hardware to fine tune the weight of the backing plate/pad to the machine. I can see some poo-pooing “having” to change hardware for different pads, but I think it’s a cool little detail to promote the smoothest experience you can get. I’m sure a pro (or anyone, really) who will be using them for hours will appreciate any steps you can take to reduce fatigue.

I wonder when that 2" conversion kit for my GG3 is going to come in

I forgot to update this but ironically enough a day or two after I posted this I received an email that it had come in. My GG3 is now converted w/the 2" backing plate

Stopped by HQ to grab some Correcting cream (they were out). Ended up buying a foaming cleaner for chrome on the Chevelle.

Love how a Jolly is rubbing shoulders (or fenders) with those classic exotics

Griot's does a great job. Impressive quality and quality control.

That, and having the grapes to guarantee their products.

What good is "The best on the planet" with no warranty? As a consumer, I really want to have that peace of mind that if my product fails, the company has my back with the idea of 100% satisfaction for the customer over 100% profits for them.

"Customers for Life"......... :)

looks like GG just come out with a Ceramic Glass Cleaner. hopefully, AG will have it soon...

Ceramic Glass Cleaner

Ceramic Glass Cleaner features advanced silane polymer technology combined with SiO2 to clean and protect your exterior glass in one simple step. This unique formula easily leaves behind a crystal clear, streak-free finish while adding hydrophobic and durable protection to all your glass surfaces. Superior water beading quickly repels water, increasing visibility and safety during wet weather driving while keeping your glass clean and spot free longer. Helps prevent water spots and snow, ice, sleet, or road spray from building up and sticking to your glass. Not only great for automotive glass, use it to protect and keep exterior glass around your home or garage cleaner longer too. Can also be used as a topper over Glass Sealant to increase durability and performance
