Inside Griot's Garage

looks like GG just come out with a Ceramic Glass Cleaner. hopefully, AG will have it soon...

Ceramic Glass Cleaner

Ceramic Glass Cleaner features advanced silane polymer technology combined with SiO2 to clean and protect your exterior glass in one simple step. This unique formula easily leaves behind a crystal clear, streak-free finish while adding hydrophobic and durable protection to all your glass surfaces. Superior water beading quickly repels water, increasing visibility and safety during wet weather driving while keeping your glass clean and spot free longer. Helps prevent water spots and snow, ice, sleet, or road spray from building up and sticking to your glass. Not only great for automotive glass, use it to protect and keep exterior glass around your home or garage cleaner longer too. Can also be used as a topper over Glass Sealant to increase durability and performance
I'll be getting it when it comes out, thanks for the heads up. Griot's has been coming out with new item lately, much different than before

I'm waiting for the 1 inch extension for the G8 which is supposed to drop in October.

I'm wondering if Griot's Garage is working on an actual spray on, hose off LSP Also any graphene infused products

I just saw the advertisement for this product and I am intrigued by it. I really like their glass sealant and it usually lasts a good six months. I am wondering if this new glass cleaner will extend the sealant life another 6 months.

They said it wasn't ideal as far as abrasion resistance for the windshield.

Kinda disappointed in the new Griots mini polishers. My Adam’s has been plenty capable and for the price of a g8 but a 12mm stroke and a 500-750W motor.

And $100 more for basically the same machine as a g8 but with a longer throw? I’d like to know why….

I just got a G8 last week...how much are those pads?, I thought about cutting 1" circles out of an 6" pad and see how those worked to save money
The orange ones are $33 for 6. It would be nice if you could mix and get 2 orange, 2 yellow, etc.

I bet if you were to call them directly and ask they would do that for you because they have the best customer service in the business!

What specifically don't you like about it?

I've had a GG3/GG6 since 2010 and they've been great, especially since adding the 1" smaller backing plates last year. The GG3 really benefitted the most from the smaller backing plate.

I've considered upgrading my machines but between how little I use them AND their current performance I just can't justify the expense

I think they mentioned a kit during one of their livestreams. I'll wait and see.

A Griot's garage cart will be filled after the SEMA show, that I know for sure!!

Feel the g8 was lacking as most 3” were 12mm. With same motor and what looks to be same chassis I just don’t get the $100 price difference. Still cheaper than the flex and Rupes.

Truth be told I would probably buy this machine to match if my swirl killer died out.

Still i’d like to know why the $100 price difference.

Saw on their IG page a new Ceramic All In One. So far their SEMA products don’t look that interesting. Ceramic glass cleaner? Meh this is where companies start to lose me.

I think that pic is in the SEMA thread
