Just wanted to pass this along to all the Dads, well, non Dads too. June 21st, Fathers Day, is the first Rise and Drive event of the year. I went to 2 of these last year and FWIW, this is the best cars and coffee I've ever been to and I'm from Detroit! The first one I went to had an original BMW 507 and road going Ford GT, original one and then there were the Lambos there, just to name a few.

It would be cool to see some of you gearheads come out, BTW, they feed you too and give away stuff, great people whom put this on and they want it to grow and grow and they're well on their way :xyxthumbs:
 
Thanks for posting that link. The kids might be upset that they can't make breakfast for dad, but it sure would be nice to head out there at some point to check out the rides.
 
Last year a guy brought his whole family, wife and 2 kids, in a 930 Porsche, bring the family out, its our day afterall :props:

This event has a great vibe, no hang up and egos about thier cars, the owners are real car people, more on the professional side but not stuffy. Your not going to see "DOPE" stickers done like an Audi logo or anything like that, a bit too early for that crowd.

Kevin, i gave that a lot of thought and have to say I now agree with it. Sometimes practicality is the reason for a machine's existence and that then is it's soul.

We would love to be involved in these meetups, count me in!

In the mean time, I'd invite all of you to come check out the new Iron Gate Motor Condo Facility in Naperville. Coffee n' Chrome is every 2nd Saturday in the AM. Brighton Auto Detailing will be opening it's first stand-alone detailing facility/retail outlet at IGMC later this year, so come hang out with us. It would be cool to meet y'all.

I've added a 2nd mason jar of "FrankenDetailer" as well as a 24 oz Griots Garage empty spray bottle of DG QD, so the list is growing. Keep in mind this isn't a contest as to whom is going to bring the most to give away to others but rather what we either have extra of or can give away. Also this is a "dump off" either, no one wants or needs anything old and past it's prime...thank you👍
