First, great choice in vehicles!
Mazda has a history of trying to keep weight and cost down on their vehicles and one way they do that it through using "less" paint on their cars. A few pounds shaved and dollars saved here and there can really add up over the course of a complete vehicle.
Skip the dealer's detailing plan and save the money to use on your own supplies.
I cannot imagine that you will need the FG400 on brand new vehicles to get rid of dealer installed swirls. but if you do, you may be able to find a good deal on it or Wolfgang Uber Compound on Black Friday.
I am weekend detailer who enjoys keeping my cars in great shape and I completed my first coating a few weeks ago. I went for CQuartz UK based on overwhelmingly positive reviews from many experienced hobbyists, and I must say that it was very easy to use. Anyone can do it. I went this route because after I put 25 hours into correcting the finicky black paint on my newly acquired '09 Lexus RX, I wanted scratch resistance and protection against the corrosive brine that is sprayed on the roads during the Northeast Winters.
For my Mustang and my wife's Accord, I'll stick to Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 as I have to have something that I can wax on the weekends :xyxthumbs:
