While the brush and sponge do work well, the air compressor is the best method. Gets deeper into the fibers and less traumatic to the pad. When I have used the brush/sponge method, some of the fibers tend to fly off with the friction.would you say the sponge or air compressor? or both?
i also have an air compressor
do you guys get the sponge wet before cleaning on the fly with it?

No, leave it dry for best results. Wash it when you're done. It's cheap, easy, fast & works great!
An air compressor works best. (No touch cleaning) I'm unable to carry a compressor around.
The foam pad brush works but I feel it's a bit coarse and may wear down the MF pad too fast.
After the job is done.Wash the sponge in between pad cleanings, or after the job is done?
is it real hard when its dry? or is it still soft? I personally would never wash a car with a bug sponge.
