Custom painted GTS blue. Top of the line PPG Global paint. I had the body shop completely wet sand out all the orange peel and they buffed it very well with a wool pad on a rotary using 3m 06060 Perfect-It 3000 Extra Cut Rubbing Compound. Then they just glazed it as a LSP till the new paint out gassed. 2 months later I did a 2 step polish: White pad and Menzerna SIP and then a black pad with Menzerna Micro polish. I then applied 2 coats of Zaino Z2, then 2 coats of Z5. That was all last year. The car has been washed twice since. It's not a daily driver obviously. It sits under a car cover in the garage, but when I do take it out, it gets QD'd before and after I drive it. Needless to say, I have induced some very very minor swirls which is inevitable. I'm going to give it a light polish and CQuartz/Reload very soon.

A little about the car...It's got a 402ci motor pushing 540 RWHP/ 490 RWTQ connected to a 6 speed transmission. I have a 6 point chromoly cage, leather racing seats and 5 point harnesses. The car is also mini tubbed for some really wide tires in the future (345's). It's a fast, mean, sexy SOB!

WOW! That thing looks amazing! 345's in the back in pretty big, but you have to get the power down to the ground some how. I guess everything is bigger in Texas.

Wax that azz :buffing: lol

TA looks Great:dblthumb2:

Have a ProCharged WS6 myself,875HP.Good to see another RamAir on the forum.

Wow really nice TA. I love the paint. Nice setup and 345's = PURE SEX

Holy bajezus!

That is one sweet ride!

One thing I love about it is the larger wheels and tires. Stock trans ams look silly to me cause their wheels/tires are so small it barely fills in the wheel wells.

I'm not really a GM guy, but darn that is nice Trans-Am!:props:

It has that perfect muscle car stance.

From one F-body lover to another, gorgeous.

I read 345s and thought man that must have been one huge hammer. Then I re-read it was mini-tubbed. Wolfe, custom, etc?

Striking color on a beautiful TA!
And I like the last pic too!

sure is a pretty T/A ... owned several thru-out college.

Nice ride. I think someone has a car similar in color on LS1Tech. I think they're in Vegas but I can't remember for sure.

I have a TA as well. Awesome cars and a lot of fun
