Not to hijack the thread, but can I just take the time to say thanks for this right here?
I've been on many forums. I moderate one decent sized one, in fact. Nothing irks me more than mods and members who just beat up on everyone. Moving a thread if it kind-of sort-of maybe belongs somewhere else, closing any thread if at some point in the last 50 years someone somewhere has asked a similar question, and shouting 'search' all the time.
You know the worst part about the 'search' shouting? It makes the search function useless. Here at AGO, I can learn so much just by skimming through threads and using search. On other forums, where the search-Nazi's are present, all the search function does is bring up page after page of useless, closed threads with members demanding this poor fellow use the (usually pretty crappy) search function.
On the forum I moderate (where I actually have some knowledge to contribute instead of just learning, like here

) I really take pride in repeating my answers. I've answered the same question dozens of times. Why? Because it doesn't take any more effort to do that than to demand they use search. And in the end, the user gets their answer, and we go away happy. (AND, Google searchers will find answers, not 'use search', meaning they are more likely to join the forum! Im the MAN )
So anyway, rant over. I just wanted to make sure to tell y'all that I appreciate how this forum is run in that sense. I'm also on another forum, one related to my car, and it is awful. Tons of bashing to use the search, bashing anyone who isn't already an expert, and the one that irks me the most; every forum and subforum is FULL of 'MOVED:' tags. Even cases of a single thread being moved several times by different mods. And we're not talking about something blatant, like, gen 2 discussion in the gen 3 forums. We're talking about stuff like, a guy has an issue with his gen 3 transmission; so it's moved to 'general issues'. Then someone else moves it to 'transmissions' but then finds out he has an aftermarket clutch so yet another mod moves it to 'mod issues'. Ridiculous!
Okay, okay, okay. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
