Just got to your PM and just to note, I never mind getting PM's I just prefer they are like yours, that is a giving me the link to a thread on the forum. Not a PM with questions that should be posted to the "public" forum. (There's a difference).
Anyway, sorry for the late reply, you posted this thread on Sunday and sent the PM on Sunday and I try to take Sunday's off to spend with family and friends, kind of recharge the battery type of stuff.
Looks like Evan and others have you all taken care of... a couple of comments...
I own a cyclo orbital polisher using the blue pads
I was hoping that maybe there were a SLIGHLTY more aggressive to get the heavier swirls out.
Definitely get some of the Cyclo Yellow foam cutting pads like you see me using in this article, or even the orange pads as pad type is a HUGE factor when it comes to removing swirls.
How To Use The Cyclo Polisher
The more pads you have the easier it is as you con keep switching to a new pad that is fresh so it doesn't get over loaded.
More pads is better... let your budget be your guide...
Also a note on over loaded pads, when your pads are loaded up they will start to generate a lot of heat and heat is bad. all the heat can cause the pad to de-laminate from the Velcro backing which is a bad thing.
Very good point. Pads that become saturated or wet with product will hold heat better than dry pads and over
time PLUS the oscillating action of the tool you can cause pad de-lamination.
Cyclo pads are unique in that they are cemented together with adhesive and the hook material is also sewn to the foam for better durability and longer life.
