New Formula Blackfire SRC Compound???

That's exactly what I was going to say before Nick pointed it out, SRC being DAT.

This is what I understand about SMAT and DAT..

SMAT - Super Micro Abrasive Technology

DAT - Diminishing Abrasive Technology

One stays micro and the other breaks down and diminishes
as you work on it.

SMAT is a newer technology and is supposed to leave a nicer finish but then again as we all know its in the technique that these polishing oils thrive and make our cars look fantastic.

Nick gave the details of what the product is and the best way is to talk to AG and/or try it out.

Nick I don't know you but this is a condescending disrespectful answer. Autogeek should be setting positive tone for the forum. I expect more. If you talked down to me like that I would take my business elsewhere. What he said was not wild speculation, it was a vible thought, just not correct in this case. He did not say he knew anything for sure. He was looking for opinons on the matter to learn. Isnt that why we all are here? Why do you feel the need to put him in his place? Not smart business. The truth would have come out anyways.

The thing is...you're never going to get the answer you are looking for, or an answer you are satisfied with. Like I said before with the store brand peas vs. the name brand...you'll never really know the lineage of the store brand, so if you like it, eat it, if you don't...Green Giant.
 
OP asked a question and made an assumption. Maybe it was wrong, but I believe the question/assumption has been addressed (and some with a little harshness that probably wasn't necessary). Let's move on everyone and get back to discussing our passion of detailing! :dblthumb2:

Nick, I'm sure you didn't mean to convey this as it looks. Sometimes trying to type with emotion is hard without facial expression or body language. I have dealt with you a few times on the phone and you are always super professional. Although this doesn't look so... I'm sure it's not how you meant it. Mark did pose a legitimate question that some of us were thinking but perhaps were afraid to post.
