New forum upgrade!

It must have. Mine are gone too. Bummer.

I've also noticed the "New Posts" and "Today's Posts" links are gone. I used the "New Posts" option exclusively rather than having to go through each sub-forum individually. It was nice to see all the traffic in one go.

Hi,

The search it's disabled and will be up probably this afternoon. The forum has a lot of posts and we need to reindex them properly so the search works fine in all devices. Will let you know when it's back.

The subscriptions should still be there but the search is disabled and it has to do with it.

Same for today's topics, since the search is disabled until the whole search its rebuilt, those buttons are gone, for now of course. They'll be back this afternoon aprox.

Edit...spoke too soon. Only the Subscribed tab shows any threads. Unread and Participated are blank, as well as the timeline tab.
 
IMO, the entirety of the pages are too "white". It's a strain on my old(er) eyes. The side bar at the right (with the popular product links and calendar) needs to be darkened, as well as the user information panel(s) at the left side of each post. not enough contrast overall on the pages.

Should work fine now. Those were features depending on the search and now they're all working fine.

I was wondering why my app wasn't working, i have a habit of clicking on it about 50 times a day, and it not working was quite odd, and disturbing!

Really bright, different colour or darker shade makes it easier on the eyes to read. Also not just within a thread but looking at the list of threads in for eg. Todays Posts is overwhelming, not even colour contrast so the eyes skip threads.
 
While the vB mechanic is wrenchin' on the forum, any chance we could get a bigger PM box?
 
How do we upload photos so we can include them in a post? I'm on a pc. This was my #1 pet peeve prior to the upgrade, a pet peeve shared by numerous forum members.

You can upload photos with the advance reply, on the reply box you click on "Go Advanced" or simply click on the big blueish button "Reply to Thread" and then click on "Manage Attachments" button on the Additional options box, a Popup will appear to upload the files. So on the popup box you click on "Add Files" and that's it, those attachments will appear on the bottom part of your message.
