I just got mine a couple of days ago. Haven't used it on a car yet but works amazingly better than the little Bissel hand held steamer I used to have around the house , It's pretty dang powerful
I got mine last week. It's still in the box waiting to be opened
I just picked up a McCullough for $75 at Harbor Freight on sale after a 25% off coupon. Killer deal...:xyxthumbs:
My MC1385 arrived today. I'll be testing it out on my Evo engine bay tomorrow![]()
Just got mine today, the 1385, and put it through it's paces on a full detail on a 2010 suburban. This thing is a heaven sent machine lol it powered through the gunk of 4 kids which ranged from mud all the way to gum stuck on leather seats to what I would have guessed as a melted fruit roll up in one of the back cubbie holes...took a lil bit for it to heat up plus I think I filled it to much lol. But once it got rolling I loved it, did the entire 'burban with one fill of water I was quite surprised. Definitely going to love this machine!
Can someone who owns one, please post a review and demo of the unit? The 2 models with similar features are the 1375 and 1385.The 1385 has what seems would be a much needed wand mounted steam control wheel.Would enjoy hearing someone who owns either of the units, thoughts on this.
Me too. If thing is a peace of crap everyone in the world will be hearing from me
I've tested it now and the only thing that bugs me is I have no idea how much water is still left in the tank and also to empty the tank you need to lift the whole unit upside down, there is no drain plug.
I ran my through the gauntlet yesterday on an Infiniti QX56 (I HATE THESE SUV's) I was very pleased with the outcome
I've never had the opportunity to use the $1,000+ machines, but doubt very seriously they would perform any better then the McCulloch 1385
This is a very nice machine. Thanks Dapper for turning us on to this :dblthumb2:
I nearly pulled the trigger on the Vapor Systems VX 5000 Steamer this morning until I stumbled across this thread...I was waiting for Flash to give it a thumbs up or death by an F-350............
Based on this endorsement, I too ordered one.............rops:
Thanks for the warning. :cruisin:
Seriously, though what can you expect for $200? I'd like to get a VX5000 or a Pro6 Duo but it's not in my budget just yet.
