Okay, the new pads have been out for more than a week, SOMEONE must have used the cutting pads and the new version polishing pads by now; let's hear about them!

I ordered them, but have not had a chance to use them yet, been and and no time to even experiment on my own cars. :(

I have mine but it will take a couple weeks before i can get to them. jonathan

I received mine yesterday, haven't had a chance to try them yet.

What was the difference between the old and new polishing pads again?

are people using regular polishes & compounds with these or do you need special stuff like the megs mf pads?

Chris says you can use anything with them, although he states the spray polishes work particularly well. People have also been using M105/205 and Menzerna polishes on the Meg's pads.

Thank you. have you seen any feedback as far as the Flex 3401? I know that wasn't a big hit with the megs pads and it's the only machine I own.

That's part of why I started this thread. If I order some of the Opt pads I'm going to get a set for my Flex to see how they are.

I just got my pads on Friday. I got 3 out of the 4 polishing pads that were the old style. You can tell the difference because the the foam is about twice as thick on the new pads. I contacted customer service, hopefully I can get them swapped out to the new improved style polishing pad.

oh man, i have the older version polishing pads :-(
