New Order - Am I missing anything?

DANGER! If you buy this, you'll be back...and back..and back. Don't say I didn't warn you!:xyxthumbs:

If it were me, I'd throw in a gallon of Optimum No Rinse. It's the swiss army knife of detail. Wash, water conditioner, clay lube, speed dry, detail spray, mouth wash, deodorant, etc.

The 845 is good stuff but will be a dust collector as soon as you put the forever coating on. Good luck!

I know what you mean. This will be my second fairly large order in the last 3 weeks!

I think I will add optimum no rinse. I see people using it all the time and it seems great.

Do you think I should get a finish polish to go on after m205 or will the m205 be sufficient?

M205 will finish down well and its good enough for most daily drivers.

That's all I needed to know. It's all ordered now. Thanks all! I can't wait to post in the unpacking thread now!

Sure if you want something that's almost guaranteed to break :D Ask Corey how long his lasted ;)
Yes, the GG is more liable to break down. However, it's so much more of a powerful polisher, I'll take the chance with it. My most recent one has been great!

It does not finish down well on soft paint(toyota, honda) and espeacially black paint. I would go 106FA because it works on eveything.

Its not THAT much more powerful to make any difference in the end results ;)

I would have me another one if they didn't have such a bad track record.

Can't say I ever had any issues with M205 and soft paint, including black. Also remember we are talking about daily drivers here not show cars.

This was some pretty soft black paint and finished up with M205. While it is "cloudy" its not the kind of clouds we worry about :D

Oh and it was done with a PC :D

I would take a picture of what it did to my black highlander, but I couldn't bare to see that again. It didn't do well on my Infiniti either. But , it does a good job on others.:xyxthumbs:

Just curious, what DA did you decide on?

I went with the GG. More than anything because I will be using it relatively infrequently so the durability is less of a concern to me. Thanks again for your help! I'll make sure to document my projects.

I would argue that the porta cable will break faster, I own both and after only a few cars my porta cable is worn out. The spindle is broke. With very light use.

GG is the best hands down. More power, lifetime warrenty, Less vibration.

I have a VERY hard time believing that.
