Friend bought a new car and plastidipped his wheels. I never cleaned anything before with it, can I clean plastidip with just any wheel cleaner or is there something I would need to use specifically?

Any non-acidic wheel cleaner will work. Just be gentle on them...you can peel/or nick the dip and it will start to come off!

•The guy that lives up the street
from me has plasti-dipped wheels.
For those I've used the following:
-Regular 2-Bucket Car-washing
products/processes
-Meguiar's D114 @1:128 ratio
-Meguiar's D120 @1:10 ratio

•Once they're clean; and to
get the plasti-dipped wheels
to look "extra shiny":
-Goo-Gone

I use stoner wheel cleaner on my plastidipped wheels; I really like it.

Don't use goo gone on dipped wheels. It'll take it right off. Not as fast as a naphtha or other solvents, but it'll remove it nonetheless.

Any advice for cleaning a plasti-dipped grille? Mine picked up about 5lbs of bugs on a recent roadtrip and am unsure as to how to go about cleaning it...

If you say so; but, then again, I don't use
Goo-Gone as a plasti-dip "remover" on
the neighbor's vehicle wheels.
