Can you tell I really really REALLY do not feel like going to work today? UGH! Oh well, if not for work I would not have all the wonderful things I do so... guess its time to pay the piper!

Irriguous (ih-rig-yoo-uhs)

Definition: well watered, as land

Source: Thesaurus.com

a "well-watered" state.

In order to properly wash a vehicle [before "waterless washes"] one would first have to put the vehicle in a irriguous situation so the loose dirt particles could wash away and form lubrication and a wet surface for the soapy-sponge to clean up the remaining debris.

Thanks Tundra_10 for your: First-rate "new word of the day", and 'used in a sentence' example pertaining to detailing-sessions.

Since 1967, and whenever irriguous is brought to the fore in 'conversations', such as Tundra_10's allegory listed above.....

My thoughts/'day-dreaming-sessions' are usually drawn to one of my favorite films, including one of its scenes in particular, that, for me, epitomizes the 'proper usage of lubrication, wet-surface(s), and sponges'.

NOTE: Yes, my forum friend...Work can be a bear, but, as you mentioned, the fruits that is able to bear makes it worthwhile and bearable, at times.

^^ Your "extra" interjections are always welcome good buddy, you and I seem to have a very similar sense of humor and appreciation for the "finer things" in life haha!

Palladium (puh-LEY-dee-uhm)

Definition:
1.Anything believed to provide protection or safety; safeguard.
2.A statue of Athena, especially one on the citadel of Troy on which the safety of the city was supposed to depend.
3.A rare metallic element of the platinum group, silver-white, ductile and malleable, harder and fusing more readily than platinum; used chiefly as a catalyst and in dental and other alloys. Symbol: Pd; atomic weight: 106.4; atomic number: 46; specific gravity: 12 at 20°C.

I know this one is a stretch in interpretation for an example haha!

Any sort of sealant or wax the detailer uses acts as a palladium against UV rays, some even help with scratch resistance and rock chips by covering the vehicle with a "hardening coating".

Garrulous (gar-uh-luhs)

Definition:
1. excessively talkative in a rambling, roundabout manner, especially about trivial matters
2. wordy or diffuse

The detailer was so garrulous that he actually talked himself out of a sale by going into grave detail about his wonderful "2-bucket method"

I am guilty of this at times, my stories or comments always seem to drag along. I am a talkative guy with a outgoing personality and seem to have a story about everything lol.

I have even read this book...

Good book, did not help in the slightest, just allowed me to laugh at myself and my traits.

Eutrapely

Definition: Pleasantness in conversation

While 'communicating' on the AGO Forum; and, even if one finds themselves becoming garrulous...
This forum has rules (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/introduce-yourself/24039-forum-rules.html) that dictates/requires proper decorum at all times...
That is, as I annotate said AGO Forum rules, one should be eutrapely at all times. I full-heartedly concur!

NOTE:
It's pleasurable to communicate with and have "rule-abiding" AGO Forum members, such as yourself, Tundra_10...Thanks!!!

In the development of their new, or soon to be new detailing business, forum members will reconnoiter other's websites and facebook pages. Doing this in order to come up with comparable pricing, service packages, and logos.

Prepondurance:excess in number or quantity.

The prepondurace of swirls lead many to the conclusion that the use of an aggressive compound is required.. However, depending upon the paint's hardness, or lack thereof; a medium polish used in conjuction with a cutting pad may prove to be adequate by employing the test spot method.
