Although I consider myself to be a Mensch...At times, my responses to an OP's thread inquiries are interpreted as, and, my persona is perceived to be as though:
I'm a miscreant...A culprit capable of nefarious behavior...A malefactor of injustice, no less!

Is it possible, afterall, that I may exibit signs of:
Multiple Personality/ Dissociative Identity Disorders?
Surely I can't be in the same category as: "Dr. Jykll & Mr. Hyde"!...One of the most notorious, agathokakological creatures of time immortal!!!

Possible, yes.
Actual, no.
I don't think that Mrs. FUN would tolerate such a person.

Coincidental that you posted this psychiatric laden post.
As I was contemplating responding to the http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/49788-so-what-did-you-do-weekend.html thread, the philosophy of Karen Horney came to mind...The fear of success school of thought, if you will.

In my living room sat two beautiful, educated twentysomethings from differing backgrounds. One girl from a family of wealth who attended boarding schools in Conn. and dropped out of Wellesley College.
One girl from modest means who also dropped out from a State College in Pa.

Both, now missionaries, travelling the world, spreading the gospel, living off the generosity and kindness of strangers.

Made me think of my only daughter, who has just completed her junior year at a private college in Va.

Anyway hand, have a good night.

“You always succeed in producing a result.”

I often reminisce, and miss, my girls quite often, also.

A good night to you, VT, as well.

A "new word of the day" for 05.07.2012:

Cereous (seer'-ee-uhs)

Definition: Waxen; waxlike

Even though the name and description on the label of the product's bottle said otherwise;
I wound up encasing my vehicle's paintwork with what appeared to be an:
Affluence of a viscuous, glutinous, cereous substance.

No duration of time:That I paused to wait;
This gelatinous goo would not indurate.
After awhile my red-neck began to sizzle.
OH! For sure! That jobber's going to brizzle.
Off now, to find the putty-knife...Seems my fate!

Note: L.A. (Limerick Addendum)

"For guaranteed product quality...I know;
Should've bought my supplies from AGO"!

1. austere quality; severity of manner, life, etc.; sternness.
2. Usually, austerities. ascetic practices

A "new word of the day" for 05.08.2012:

Exsect (ek-sekt')

Definition: Remove; eliminate.

There seems to be a plethora of tips, techniques, and advice (from products' manufacturers, as well as from detailing-forums' members) on:
"How to properly prepare your vehicles' paintwork for a 'Last-Step-Product' (LSP)"; i.e., waxes, sealants, coatings.

A most controversial prep-method, (along with an array of heterogeneous wares to do so, it seems) is to:
Exsect, from the paintwork surfaces, any and all previously applied...Detailing-Products.

On this day...May 8th, 1929:

Three gangsters from Chicago were found murdered today and riddled with bullets in retaliation for the "St Valentines Day Massacre".
It was believed by the F.B.I. (especially Eliot Ness) that this was one method used by Al "Scarface" Capone, and his miscreants, to:
Exsect those he felt were responsible...As well as a harbinger, a warning, if you will, to his 'competition'.

I read the postings of the day, thank you for the submissions. I am so sorry but I totally forgot to put in my input. The last 3 days I have been running on about 5 hours of sleep, yesterday I only got 1.5hrs. I will get one up for tomorrow. Also I will apologize for this weekend. I am going to be out of town. I am going to do my best to post on Thursday, however I cannot promise that and will not be posting until Tuesday. Sorry for any inconvenience that may cause!

One cannot continuously exsect sleep from ones daily regimen. To do so may leave one in a cereous like state of mind. Thusly, leading one to make mistakes on the job, which may lead to unemployment. Then, unemployment may lead to austere measures concerning finances.

So, have a great extended weekend, including rest and relaxation.

I'm sure that FUN will keep the ship afloat.

The New Word of the Day: 5/9/12 <<Yesterday was the first quarter anniversary of NWoD Thread. Thank you all!!

Unctuous (uhngk-choo-uhs)

Definition:
1.characterized by excessive piousness or moralistic fervor, especially in an affected manner; excessively smooth, suave, or smug.
2.of the nature of or characteristic of an unguent or ointment; oily; greasy.
3.having an oily or soapy feel, as certain minerals.

The soap the detailer uses to clean a car will leave a unctuous texture to the paint before it is rinsed off.

I agree sleep is very important. Unfortunately I just cannot get myself in a relaxed enough state of mind during the day to fall asleep. =( The only times I can are when I am extremely tired.

*Relaxation is more of a mental challenge, than a physical one for me these days. Too many outside issues.

*Certain otc detail products have an unctuous smell, reminiscient of a refinery I used to make deliveries to.

*The in/out one step with wax x5 had to be rescheduled for tomorrow a.m. due to rain today. Will log off soon, do a few chores around the house, and finally get a chance to lay on the couch and flip channels.:)

For those able to read this post (due to their conception), I would like to suggest:
Take an opportunity to express your reverence towards your Mother, not only on this year's Mothers Day, but each and every time you have the chance to do so, whether She's still walking the face of this Earth, or otherwise.

It's never an obligation to contribute to your "new word of the day" thread...Rather, my hope is that no one minds the incessantness of my doing so!

Accordingly:

Supernatant

Definition: Floating; buoyant; Chemistry: liquids lying above settled preipitates

For me...There is water's: "Surface Tension"...That comes into play when considering a 'Last -Step-Product' (LSP) to apply upon a vehicle's paintwork.
But, I wonder, what affect (if any) does/would selecting a particlar 'LSP' have on the supernatant characteristics of climatic precipitates.

Insouciant   (in-soo-see-uhnt)

Definition: Bouyant; untroubled

Sorry to hear about your delay, Tundra_10, and the lividness your experiencing.
However, once the delay has been overcome, my wish is for you to have an: 'Insouciant-remainder' of your journey, there and back!!

Now here's another quandry that I'm facing concerning 'LSP'. I'm tired, my wrists hurt and tomorrow is gonna be hectic as well ( thank God). Got in late, cleaned all of todays pads and interior mf's; but missed the time line to place AG & OPT orders today ( I like talking to another human when i'm dropping $$$.)

Back on topic: I have a customer that wants a coating prior to a June trip to Ga.
I, myself, am getting away from carnauba lsp on my personal vehicles (OS) due to time constraints. So, since I've never thought much about coatings, I now find myself in a position where I will have to Opticoat one or two of my vehicles so as to become proficient in the application before tackling customer car. So, I guess that the customer request precipitated my decision to forgo carnauba.

Where was I at?...oh - 2.0, topped with OS, will probably leave me longing for the supernatant beads that I've become accustomed to.

Today is the opposite of yesterdays post (#634 re: relaxation).
My thought processes are more insouciant today, but my body is challenged...time for a few threads, then, shower and bed.
