A "new word of the day" for 06.11.2012:
Scrobiculate
Definition: Mark with many shallow depressions, grooves, pits, or hollows.
The Detailer's forehead, likewise, became instantaneously scrobiculated upon discovering the tell-tell signs left behind from many:
A-too-long-a-lingering, "hard as zirconium-ish...meconium-ish" defecations from: The South-end, of North-bound flying, 'friends' of aviarian-persuasion!!!

The customer had a ebullient moment when the detailer revealed the incredible correction he performed on the vehicle.
Today on June 11...
2001 Timothy McVeigh executed for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
The sham detailer's decision to peculate photos bit him in the arse when found out by AGO forum members. For 06.12.2012's "new word of the day":
Peculate
Definition: To misappropiate; steal; pilfer; take dishonestly; make public, private property.
Adherence to Mike Phillips' applicability of the maxim:
"Give credit where credit is due"...
Is a brilliant, and demonstrable principle; which, if one so desires, may be utilized for: Peculation-avoidance tactics.

*The polymers of certain RW's encapsulate the dirt and certain sponges/ MF wash mitts state, "...release loosened dirt particles and gather them between the pores/deep strands."I have opted for 06.13.2012’s "new word of the day" to be:
Postulate
Definition(s):
-To assume or assert the truth, reality, or necessity of... especially as a basis of an argument.
-To assume as a premise/axiom.
-Something assumed without proof as being self-evident or generally accepted: Take for granted.
-A basic principle.

In this oligarchy? Only as an assumption, IMO.

Hi VT (David)...
I enjoyed the entire video...Thanks for its inclusion!!
My favorite segment was the: 1:40-3:54 time-frame:
Wisened...A little, perhaps.
Sagacious..indeed!
Both? Most likely.

For 06.14.2012's "new word of the day"...
(Based upon VT's above video...
...And the Gentleman's presentation he gave in said video's designated time-frame).
Sagaciousness/(Sagacity)
Definition:
-Discernment: profound knowledge/understanding (coupled with foresight and good judgment)
Let me pose it another way: Is it possible for human beings to know ‘objective reality’?
-As one begins the journey of life…our human bodies/minds, the societies we live in, and the World/Universe around us, forms very complex systems, all of which interacts with and influences each other…which, by nature, should find: homeostatis ---“the reality balancing act”.
So true.Thankfully, sagacity prevails.
IMO…No human is capable of drawing-up the “correct/right” road-map. it's best to ardently attempt to create the “richest road-map” for life’s journey…one that provides excellence---the best quality-of-life… to be made available through the greatest number of choices and perspectives.
Too often, I’ve discovered, that it’s misplaced priorities/poor judgement (perspectives) that causes one to concentrate on bagatelle, while ignoring issues of greater significance.
Met a prospective customer while detailing yesterday. This lady is a beauty salon operator who set app't for Sunday morning (Father's day) with the possibility of me detailing for her customers (captive audience if you will) at the strip mall, where she owns her business on future Saturdays.
The dilema: wife and brother paid for and planned a surprise visit for my mom who hasn't travelled since diagnosis of, and, treatment for disc deterioration due to chemo. I'm estimating at least 6 hrs on this DD BMW. While it would have been a surprise and a welcomed event, them having no knowledge of my schedule (rarely detail on Sundays) seems to put me not only in a quandry personally, but a dilema that may/may not provide residual income.
Their lacking ken in the way that detail jobs materialize, and opportunities present themselves have left me looking like the bad guy.
If I take this job, then she will have her butt on her shoulders for the duration of mom's visit.
If I cancel the app't, I may lose residual income.
Well, so far FD weekend is starting on a sour note.
Wish you all a great Father's Day!
