OCDetail - Nissan GTR CQuartz Finest

Once upon a time there was a mythical creature known as Godzilla. To me this mythical creature holds a very special place in my heart. A Nissan GTR is the car I dream of, by far and way my favorite! I have had a many customers call me with one of these beast but some way or another something always happen... One of them was totaled the day before the appointment, another one stolen, and the worst was the one that was dropped off at the shop and before I could wash it customer showed backed up with what I could only assume was very un happy wife and canceled. Between us she looked way meaner than real Godzilla. This time though Godzilla was dropped off at my door step looking beat down... I was on mission! Bring Godzilla to glory!

After being held hostage at a local dealership for 6 months.......

You could see the pain and battle scars of multiple wipe downs with what I could only assume was an 80 gallon drum of quick detail spray and a brick applicator

The skin can be healed but it was going to take some work!

More evidence of the torture this city crushing monster went through! Totally uncalled for!

No spa day for Godzilla would be complete with out a pedicure!

Now thats a glossy wheel!

Oddly enough Big Foot and Godzilla were friends! So after a couple rounds of Big Foot magic! Ta Da!

Fast forward a cpl days!

Perfect paint inside the light lip.. .I know now I'm just showing off!

Next day after some time with curing lamp Cquartz Finest go awfully shiny!

LOOOOK ITTTTTTTTSSS GAAAAWWWWWDDDDDZZZIIIILLLAAAA(Que Japanese accent!)

Did this model have the scratch shield paint, and if so, what were your experiences with buffing the paint and how, if it all, did you keep the paint cool during the process?

And it wasn't as bad I had imagined it would be. Just 205KBM style followed up BF finishing polish

no scratch shield for that color.

it does have "hard clear clear coat" with the "anti-chip" portions and "double clearcoat".
