Optimum Car Wax durability test....

for the streaking, you can go over it with some cold water and straighten it out.

It can be used why the car is still wet (after washing) , so it makes sense that applying it straight may result in some streaking.

Just as an FYI. I have seen about 6 weeks out of two coats of Meguiars UQW. Just do the car once and do it again. Only takes a few minutes anyway.

And now you can purchase it in the gallon size (Meguiars Synthetic Express Spray Wax)!!

Hey Mark, Thanks for the writeup. I was just reading through this and got to the part that says it was in a collision. I hope whoever was driving is ok. I was excited about seeing the results. Sorry that happened to you and thanks for the effort.

Funny you mention this, I was going to update the thread. The car was in a front end collision. Nothing toooo serious, but the hood is being re-painted right now, so the durability test can be thrown out the window. :(

hoping u r ok and thanks for the review.

Thanks guys for your concern. It's not my car, but the driver is just fine. :)

I really wish I could have come to a conclusion with this.

Yeah, many of us were looking forward to seeing just how this product held up.

Wait a minute... The other car involved in the collision. You didn't happen to notice any Optimum logos on it did you
