Maybe I've missed it, but I thought these bad boys were supposed to be released after SEMA....What gives? I want to try one.

Chris had mentioned a problem with their manufacturer I believe. I think he said they would be available sometime in December.

They're late...perhaps Chris will give an update, but last he said was December.

Let's all chant together now:

UPDATE

UPDATE

UTDATE!!!

I thought you were tickled pink with your TufBuff wool and Buff-n-Shine foam pads. How could you possibly need MF's?

Still waiting for the material from overseas. Then we still have assembly...hopefully in time for Christmas. Hey richy, I just got my sample this week of 1 5.25" and 1 6.25" so there aren't very many to be had until we get our inventory. We had a few at SEMA that I got to demo...I should have shoved a few in my pocket. I will make an announcement when we start shipping and I'm sure Nick will let us know when AG gets them.

I am urgently awaiting them as well Richy! I really want to try these out and I'm hoping they become my go to cutting pad.

Man, you know what it's like. You get yourself a redhead, and now you want a blonde....

Thanks for the update Chris. I can wait for my order of the other item until these come in to save on shipping. (I had split an order with Bryan's bestwax from Toronto)

Thanks for the update Chris. Hope to make the cutting and polishing pads my only pads.

What I'd like to know is how Richy thinks these pads will improve his already stellar work?

If the pockets burnin' that bad Richy, you can send some to me. LOL!

#1, Thank you for the vote of confidence. Technology is changing this field very rapidly. I like to try out game-changing tools to see if they are a benefit over what I currently use. Every paint reacts differently. Maybe I'll get one that these work better on than something I'm currently using? I'm actually trying not to spend $$ right now, believe it or not!!

I've only recently gotten a few tools to work with. I've been on this site for only 6-8 months and what little time I've been here and having seen what I've seen, I'd say you're correct. Technology is changing virtually every field.

There's alot to be said for knowing how to do things the old way, as you do Richy, but by the same token I sort of feel blessed to be getting in on this during this time "change." I mean, it seems like there are great new, usable, and worthy products being introduced all the time that, while they may be expensive they are time savers, they also give the customer great value. Both parties win.

I guess these aren't going to be available this year. I was also waiting to see what the 3" DA backing plate was going to be like before I order a spare from Griot's while they have the free shipping going on.

Sorry Gentlemen...maybe we'll have a big introductory sale to thank you for your patience?

Actually we have been tweaking the material to have more cut than the polishing pads without taking the polish/compound into account. I promise they will be worth the wait.
