OVERATED: Which Products In Your Opinion?

I go to Georgetown Airport for a full day once a month .......... I'll let you know when I'm "in town" ....

I'll be sure to gather the "townsfolk" with their pickets and torches. "BURN THE HERETIC!" they'll chant as we march toward the airport. :p

I think NXT spray wax can come here!!

Though I love it, its just that it creates a kind of mess!!

AS in it dries into white streaks and the streaks come off as powdery residue! kinda ruins the mf! lol

but the shine is awesome.

oh no, how come? Haven't opened it yet but was planning to layer on top of a few coats of sealant then top with PBNB this summer.
i found it too hard to get off .i went back to cleakote red moose glaze.

Hm, I wouldn't give up on it just yet, I'm not sure how you use it.. but maybe try adjusting your application. I found it extremely easy to use. I've never used the clearkote red moose glaze personally but blackhole was one of those products for me where I thought "wow that was easy".

I feel some of the cobra microfibers aer overrated.

Like I have said and continue to say, I have used and use Wal-Mart microfibers with no adversee marring or effects. Plus, I don't have to worry about dirtying one of them up on a detail because it's cheap enough to buy more.

I mean $5.99 for a wheel towel? Really? I use a mixture of cotton towels and dedicated microfbers from Wally World for wheels.

That's just me though.

I agree to a certain extent. The problem with the Wally towels is the leave tiny fibers behind. After I wash them 1 time they start to "lint" I guess you would say.

But, the Cobra towels do as well. Especially the mango towels.... But even the Jrs and Supreme do after a few more washings. Be careful when your cleaning your windows...

Meguiars Express Wax .. not to be confused with Synth Express Spray Wax ... the MEX just flat out blows!
followed by Megs WaterBased Dressing ... another product that at 1:1 barely darkened tires

plenty of great sources to get quality microfiber towels from, just got to look around...

in all honesty, i've yet to encounter a cobra towel that hasn't linted. supreme, deluxe jr. indigo, glass...whatever. all of mine lint. and i wash mine separately, by color, with micro-restore. so all supremes go together, deluxe jr. together, indigo, glass, etc. no chance of cross-contamination.

every single one lints. even my guzzler HDs would lint (esp on glass) if it weren't for the water it sucks up and the OID/OCW i use with them while drying.

the saddest part of it all is the old advance auto micro fiber towels i use for jams and whatever else do not lint : (

i have slowely transitioned to other towels. for my drying, while the cobra HDs still work fine for drying, they are getting tired so i've been using the mothers drying waffle weaves - quite a towel! also for glass i've been using dragon fiber MF cloths. they take a little getting used to but they work SO well and have no means of linting.

I used Meguiars for 10 years, learned on the stuff. The guy I worked for also retailed it so we had really no choice, dont get me wrong its ok... but thats it ok. I am a loyal Britemax customer now.

Lmao britemax is better than meguiars....I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion...

I would take it you have used it and disagree, or are you just a victim of marketing dollars?

So you're saying that the entire Meguiar's line is overrated?? :dunno:
