i wonder if the flex 3401 backing plates are compatible with this.. if so, you can purchase the 4 3/8" backing plate and use 5.5" pads... btw, it's great that you got this when you did (congrats!), i can see these eventually going up in price...

here's another video of someone who just picked one up...

Great idea! Would definitely save me some $$$ on pads.

At $119 I'd be tempted to buy one just in case the price does go up. Add on a hopefully compatible small Flex backing plate and it'd be a nice alternative to my Duetto. I've always been interested in trying a forced rotation machine but I've never been able to afford or justify the expense of a Flex or Mille.

Forced rotation has always intrigued me as well. My only other polisher is a maxshine m8s (v1), which will probably be delegated to 3" duty. After (CA) tax the polisher came out to $130 which is still a decent deal. The young lady that was at the register told me I was the first person to buy one so the cat isn't out of the bag just yet.

Thats cool, interested in hearing a review on it. To bad you dont have a 3401 on hand to compare and do a review on it lol.

Detailed imaige still has their sale on lc force pads. Ends today i think...better order up some 6.5 inchers!

Two new P&S products to try.................

Both of these were unveiled a few weeks ago. Unlike new products from Carpro, these two have hit the Australian market quite promptly. Still on the way are the new fragrances, the Bead Maker inspired Mango Fresh and Absolute inspired Coconut Lime.

Testing Swift on the kitchen bench this evening, I was instantly impressed, so I'm very keen to try this out further.

Defender seems to have great beading and poor durability. Should excel as a drying aid.

I bought one of these myself tonight. I took off the stock backing plate and it looks like the Flex mini backing plate will be a direct fit. I'm going to order one and see if it does actually fit once I get back from vacation in about two weeks.
