Dang that seemed short lived. My Ryobi going on 7+ years of car and household use…. Been waiting for it to die to have an excuse to upgrade.

Did it dy by accidentally jumping off of a high shelf?

It started cavitating out of nowhere. I thought I had a leak but checked all my fittings and they were good.

I was going to purchase the 1.8 gpm ryobi as a replacement but the next day I got a random check in the mail for a class action lawsuit from 2021 that covered more than half the cost of the 2.0 🤣

I actually used a little 1.2 gpm greenworks that I keep as a spare to finish washing my car and man can you notice a difference in the gpm immediately.

I’m not sure what kind of setup you had in your previous PWer, but the Ryobi 1.8 needs an upgraded hose.
I bought an Uberflex 3/8” off NorthernTool.com for $62 shipped and it came with 2 male threaded ends. That was another $15 for the QC’s to fit. I also bought a new spray gun to try out that was $35 and then a cheap QC for the water hose for $30.
I’m in it about $275… I’m actually getting ready to walk out the door in a few minutes to test all of it out.

I was already running a 3/8" steel braided hose from my previous setup and will use that with the current pressure washer. Active actually recommends using a steel braided hose on their 2.0 unit as the uberflex style hose causes issues with their pump for some reason.

They are very soft, not as soft as the premium ones, but still good enough for what I need them for.

Edited to add I just looked up the makeup and tanning brushes, they have a longer handle, but are basically the same, and they charge $6 for them.

These are the ones I'm referencing, one is sold as a detailing brush, the other for fake tan. Most likely made in the same Chinese factory. I've used them for tyre dressing, a little small but nice to use.

I worked at a K-mart in college, in Sporting Goods (best spot in the store). Sold a lot of shotguns, LOL. Best part of K-Mart, especially as a college student, was they paid you in CA$H every FRIDAY. Used to be a good place to shop, just like Sears, and both of them went off the cliff together. :(

Not sure if it was thing in the US, but did they also have an instore cafe like ours did up until the early 2000's?

They did in the 80’s cherry coke icee and a hot dog was the go to

We had another store called Big W, which is paired with Woolworths supermarkets, basically the same concept as Kmart and Coles. Big W also had an instore cafe. I never saw the point to be honest. Like, are people that hungry they need to eat part way through shopping for cheap homewares and Indonesian made clothing? And in any case, these stores are usually housed in a shopping centre that would have multiple food outlets. From memory, the store staff were probably the biggest customer of these instore cafes.
