Pro's vs Joe's

I'm not a pro but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...

hahha you have me dying over here man. I detail professionally, but only part time. I work on a referral basis only and do about 6-8 cars a month.

Just a Joe that's been hanging around here for a year now. Before AG I could care less how my car looked but now I am addicted and am constantly trying to learn more though I still feel like a newbie with all the knowledge on here.

I used to have and enjoy showing classic Corvette show cars. It was therapy for me to clean, wax and detail cars before shows. Corvette people can be a little "nuts" on details. Now I'm retired, no corvettes and am new to AG. I enjoy learning about all the terrific products and how well they perform. I just bought a Flex DA, have taken some instruction from James, M.P. from Ft Stewart, Ga. Will just be doing my cars and a few friends in the neighborhood.

Full time, 6 days a week professionally. 4-6 vehicles a day. Detailing is pretty much my life, ha.

new hobby for me but I've done enough cars for friends and family already that my KAIO is almost done and I haven't even used it on my car yet!

just ordered DG 501 and Poli seal. Seems to be all ppl have time for nowadays...

average joe with apassionate hobby that wants rotary skills and thinks that he needs a carpet extractor:hungry:

wwwwoooooowwwww!!!!! I was thinking, on the way into work, what the average time it takes you guys to detail a car. It seems like it took a long time for me to do a 3 stage polish and 1 layer wax job. But then again, it took me half a day to tape and put the newspapers on the windows.

It all started with the porter cable for me. One day I came across autopia's page and bought the PC and Sonus kit. After that I stumbled across AG and have been hooked ever since.

I don't consider myself a professional. I am an extreme enthusiast who took his obsession and turned it in to a pretty good part time business.

I worked at a full service carwash first before getting proper training and a full time detailing job while in college. Now that I've graduated I just do it for fun on my or my parents cars.
