Review: Metro Master Blaster

Weell I have no idea how many $$ I spent on WWMF before settling on the Mothers foam core. I think they are Chris's favorite too as I recall a very good review he did on ONR. I still do a lot of rinseless and waterless washes so the Mothers will still have a place.

Come on guys, how many of you said good bye to $263 & change this weekend!

Well I guess I am #4 to buy this product based on Corey's review! What the hell am I going to do with all my waffle weaves?

Send them to me!!!!!!! I am a huge fan of the Mothers towel, so they will get a great life! LOL.

Just watched all of your videos again! Sssoooooo Cool!

"To my dear beautiful wife. I know what I would really like for Father's Day. I've been a good boy. Pleeeeeeeaaasssssseeee????"

The wife would've been so mad that she would've been sleeping on the couch:dblthumb2:
Well if you turn on the MB you wont hear the complaining! Also take care of business BEFORE you tell her about it!

This is an absolute must-have item ...

Corey, my master blaster arrived and I just had a chance to use it moments ago (though I have been playing with it for the past two days dusting the house, sweeping out the garage, and thwarting the devil spiders that try to take over my garage [that was deeply satisfying]).

After using this to dry my car, where has this product been my whole life! My goodness, I will never touch another WW towel so long as my MB is in service. Drying the car has always been my most hated portion of washing, now it is quite literally a blast! Typically I have a bunch of crevices and spots under the mirrors that will continue to drip water after I try to dry the car, causing me to go back and re-dry several times and spot clean drips. Not so with the MB.

It also cut my drying time down to about 7 minutes, and was a heck of a lot of fun. I am still working on getting down a technique for efficiency, but even on my first use it was fantastically easy to use. My new neighbor stopped by and exclaimed that there was not a spot on the car, and that he has never seen a car so clean :)

In short, thanks for conning me out of $300, I am smitten with my new toy :props:

I couldn't agree more Scott! I tried to withold my exuberance in my review. If I had writtin it the first week I had it it would have fully shown my excitement. Luckily I gave myself enough time to calm down a little. Any of my friends that spoke with me those first couple days after I got it know how crazy I was. LOL

Thats awesome Bill!!

I felt the same way as you. I hated drying and that made me not enjoy washing as much either. Now I can enjoy washing more knowing the drying portion of it is even better! And every time I wash a car I love it more.

LOL at your war with the spiders! Im the MAN

Heres a video btw: One of many uses...
I started taping this to show one of the ways of applying UTTG in hard to reach areas. Then the glove started linting and after about 1/2 a second of saying "Oh no", inspiration hit me. I knew exactly what to do so I kept using the linting glove and the rest is in the tale of the tape. The video doesn't show how bad the lint was inside the fins but it looked like it might take a bit to get off.

Great review as always, this makes me want to go out and buy the metro masterblaster, it looks like fun.

I think this is more time and cost effective than using DI water for spotless rinsing. I am going to try and save up for one of these. ;)

This machine looks like a beast, but $300 for a car dryer seems very pricey for what it does. I imagine BobbyG, Kristopher, Rasky and all of the other northern Geeks would love one of these in the fall to use as a leaf blower. :D

its much to nice to ever touch any yard work :props:

Anyone have experience with the Vac N Blow? I am looking at getting the wall mount for Fathers Day and was wondering if it would put out as much air on the blow side as the Master Blaster on the 4HP setting?

I hope we can get another sales discount on this so I can get it.
