Review: Metro Master Blaster

Anyone have experience with the Vac N Blow? I am looking at getting the wall mount for Fathers Day and was wondering if it would put out as much air on the blow side as the Master Blaster on the 4HP setting?

I can tell you next week..

I am wondering if there is a way to mount the MB to the wall. I leave the hose attached despite warnings not to leave it attached and it takes up a lot of space with the hose since I do not coil the hose very tight since it will kink and I am sure that is not good for the hose. I wonder what I could mount it with.

Great, I will look forward to hearing your thoughts. I found an old thread where some members were complaining of a very annoying high pitched whine sound from their Metro vacs. Please let me know if you experience anything like this.

Let us know what you think!
I am gonna try my MB tomorrow!

You know one major con of this product, the power cord is super short:(

Yeah I'm using an extension cord with mine but I was pretty disappointed when I opened mine up. Same goes for the PC7424 with that short power cord.

II agree. I got my GG DA with the 25' Heaavy Duty cord but it cost me an extra $30. A 25' HD extension cord costs less and does so much more!

I guess my only argument is that they should've have thought this through. Being that most of the people using this in garage/shops would need more then a dinky 5~10feet of cord to do work. Oh well.

The Master Blaster comes with a 12 FT Powercord.

I use a 25 FT - 12 gauge extension cord with it as well.

I don't think I have any outdoor appliance whether it be a table saw, wet/dry vac, polisher, etc that I just use the cord on the machine. I always use an extension cord.

I am using 35 ft 14 AWG (two cords together) at the moment when needed. I will be getting a 50 ft 12 AWG. 18 A at 50 ft needs 12 AWG.

Just wanted to revisit this! How many of you bought one of these after Corey's review? I did and havent dried a vehicle with an MF since. LOVE IT! What about you?

bought mine over two years ago and love it too. had to fix the hose as the thing kept blowing apart but now all is well. on my personal cars it is amazing. little less on daily drivers but still invaluable.

I love mine ... :props:

I did see some posts on the nozzle coming loose, but really thought that was indeed a design to change nozzles. (I seem to remember others in the box, just never use them).

I definitely want one after this. Awesome review Corey!!

+1

Corey's review completely sold it for me, I LOVE not having to use a WW to dry any more.
