Rinseless Washes - 2022

What do you mean

I've just assumed they'll never actually ship the stuff that said not for US customers to those of us in the US. No clue when Total Remover hits here and I really want to try it compared to Kamikaze Cleanser no.5. I may stick an order in and see if they'll ship anyways. If I disguise it with enough other purchases, maybe they let it slip

I went ahead with it - both Remover and Eco Wash. Also tossed in some Popo MFs and NV Snow+ ... wanted that free shipping!

Nv Snow+ was a great product, everything from Nv I've tried had been, haven't used my bottle of Purge yet because my wheels haven't gotten THAT dirty yet, LOL

Would you mind sharing your thoughts on Total Remover when you get the chance.

Just used it and I'm finished and IT'S AWESOME

If your familiar with Gyeon Q2 Wax you'll notice it's scent IMMEDIATELY! The color is milky white, almost like some of the Q2 Wax has been melted into this RW/WW/Drying Aid

I used 2 oz to 3.5 gallons, used 2BM and the DIY Detail Legacy sponge and I made quick work of the very, VERY dirty Cruze! I pre-treated each section, cleaned and wiped dry and it finished dry...and GLOSSY...AND VERY SLICK

I can't say enough about this product other than I see the larger size in my future, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT

You have to figure that the Griot's Brilliant Finish RW replacement would be coming out before too long.

It was YOU who gave me the confidence to use rinse-less wash, to which I thank you for the prompt.

Just got an email from the Australian importer and distributor for Gyeon, Total Remover is now available, but Eco-Wash won't arrive until June or July this year.

I hope you don't mind, but I sent your glowing review to them. To be frank, rinse-less washing is not very popular in this country. A lot of that is from a lack of education or that the products themselves are seen as bad for the paint (I'm not joking, one guy told me that the surfactants used in rinse-less wash products are harsh). Perhaps a kick-ass product like Eco-wash could change that? Probably not, Aussies in general are very skeptical or stubborn.

Oh WOW, I'm glad I had that impact but I've been onboard with RW's since I basically joined AG

As you know it's all about technique and I'm as careful as possible by not only pre-treating EVERYTIME but also using 2BM method w/grit guards when using a designated sponge, overkill to some, sure, but that's just how I am

I (almost) always use a rinse bucket with rinseless. After using a rinse bucket for conventional wash for so many years, I just couldn't put my wash media back into a dirty bucket when doing rinseless.

That's right and I can't believe how many well respected YouTubers don't use the 2BM

It took a long time to be accepted here, and you could argue it still hasn't been. Oddly, waterless is more accepted--I think rinseless is counter-intuitive, or just too foreign a concept for most people, who can compare conventional and waterless to normal household cleaning, you wash your dishes with soap, then rinse off the soap, or spray window cleaner on your window and wipe off.

I first got exposed to rinseless when I joined Autopia in 2004, back then the product was ProtectAll Quick and Easy Wash (QEW), but it was something that was used for desperation winter washes in the garage, and no one used it when it was warm enough for a hose. Then ONR came out in 2006 or 2007, but it still took years for that to be accepted as again, something other than a winter desperation wash.

I'm only aware of one consumer rinseless that was introduced here in the US, the Turtle Wax product, which was a flop, and (Klasse is going to love this) that turned out to be...diluted ONR, as revealed recently at the Optimum forum.

EDIT: Oh sorry, it wasn't diluted ONR, they (TW) changed the dilution instructions so you would use more. I was kind of shocked that info and more regarding TW was revealed by the OPT rep on the forum, who insisted it wasn't restricted by NDA.
