Thank youThat's looking really good! Great job!
haha I can try, unsure on how I will be tackling the sample send out stageman u gotta send one of those jars to try it on my blue vette
are u considering about production for these waxes or they still on test?
I'd say bothNice to see you getting new ideas and improving your wax. Not sure if your wax is responsible for that silver charger, or if it was the detailer (probably you) that prepped it, but that car looks amazing (combination of polish and your LSP). Kind of sad to see you are "almost finished", as Son1'cs 38 or even 48 doesn't sound as cool as Son1c's 106. There is always room for improvement though, even after you found a wax that you are truly satisfied with. You can add to the scent, ease of use, durability, color charged, etc.
By the way, have you tried playing with the "very rare - Autogeek" Motan wax?
Thank you for the kind words and inputExcellent job! I mean, really, what more needs to be said...
I think all of us, at one point or another, have always wanted to create our own, proprietary wax blend with more white carnauba than anyone on the market while still maintaining a certain ease of use that modern formulas have.
On another note, I believe your comment regarding wanting to stay all natural is a very, very strong selling point. In today's day and age, natural products hold a premium as we start to care more about our health consequences and possibility of renewable sources of products. I think you could certainly carve out a nice niche by supplying 100% natural (organic? Who really knows what marketing you'll be able to have) wax.
Has anyone ever considered applying the wax while it is still liquid, right off the stove? There have been sometimes in the heat of the Texas summer or when I lived down in New Orleans that the wax would start to liquefy. I'm wondering if by heating the wax into a liquid and letting it harden on the paint before removal, if you can up the carnauba content without sacrificing the ease of use? Of course, this may be a terrible idea but, who knows, it may not be! It probably is but still, it would possibly be an interesting test...
Lastly, I look forward to the final, finished, really finished, I mean this is it, I'm done this it the one.... Product!
haha thanks Chet! This story is awesome! Glad to see your getting close (or there) Son1C. Reflections and gloss look amazing!
One must persevere!& he keeps on with experiments also , never stops .
thank you sirGeeeeeez dude, I give you a TON of credit! Amazing if you ask me.rops:
Awesome Job Drew!
Can't wait to put it through the torture test.
I say we did very well with the prep on the Charger and GTI. :buffing:
I will say this about Drew's wax, it was very easy to apply and even easier to buff off. I thought Midnight Sun was gravy until I tried this. The other members could vouch. Once I get another sample, I will see if I could leave it on a panel longer and try to buff it off. It did indeed produce a nice deep and wet look.
I brought up a few ideas with Drew and we are going to try to apply it on top of a sealant. My car will be the test car for this in the next week or so.
I would like to see the durability of this wax though. The Charger belongs to a coworker of mine and I'll be keeping a close eye on it to give an honest "synopsis" (lol).
Thank you for the kind words and input
If you'd seriously like, I could give it a try some time haha
