Thats funny. Tuff Shine is like a CQuartz for your tires. It is the dressing as well. I think you would be crazy to use any other dressing on a daily driver, as you can see how clean it keeps the tires. I just love the stuff, should be product of the year.
The thing with Tuff Shine is, there is a slight learning curve and the initial application can be quite labor intensive, as it involves getting your tires surgically clean (even new tires need this process) before the coating is applied. If they are not cleaned correctly, the coating will peel. Best thing to do is to clean them day 1, let vehicle sit overnight, and clean them again next day. It requires a LOT of water and rinsing if you have been a frequent user of convention dressings.
Once the coating is applied, tires stay clean and dressed looking (not "shiny") and can be "cleaned" by reqular car wash or whatever else is at hand. I just use whatever surfactant based wheel cleaner I'm using. You can see in the pics, Tires shed no brown nastiness when cleaning. It's almost like cleaning your paint.
Not to jack your thread with Tuff Shine, but it's such an awesome product. It's an awesome company as well. I had some initial issues and questions and one of the company's OWNERS called me on my cell phone and mailed me out some additional product FREE.
