I put two coats on late April and have washed it weekly with DG 901, nothing more. Still sheets/beads like the day I put it on. Other than contamination that you can feel with the baggie test it just keeps performing. Kind of boring actually...... If you're looking for protection with little maintenance then you should consider this. I'm going to put Polishangel's Viking Shield on my other car to compare the two, and to have something to do.
I've got this and really like the idea. I've put it on a white F-150 and my bmw 328xi and it seems to work really well.
I have a couple of concerns and maybe those here can help me with them.
1. I'm spraying about 4 sprays on the yellow pad that is included but it seems after spreading it just maybe 6-8 inches the visible 'wetness' if you will disappears and it looks like I'm just pulling the applicator across the paint.
2. Uneveness due to #1, maybe I'm overthinking this but it seems like I'm applying the right amount to the pad according to Jerry at Duragloss but with what is seen above how can it be even or even close?
3. So far I've done 2 coats on my F-150 and 1 on my BMW. I have about 1/4-1/3 of the bottle left. Way too much used? About right?
Hoping for some good answers, thanks.
I've seen some folks on other forums that have found the beading/sheeting and general performance to drop quickly? What are your observations?
