First REAL storm of the year, round #1, about 6". I had to shovel the front and our approach sidewalk, heavy snow as it's 34F. Round #2, which will add a foot comes this evening into Saturday morning, glad I'm not out of shape at almost 54 yrs old![]()

Looks like ALOT of funmay be time to invest in a cordless blower...
That Hyundai XG300L...THAT'S what happens when you don't stay ontop of your car, plus the cheaper Korean steel
I was just reading a story about this yesterday, this is in Australia, so it's not a winter salt based issue. Seems to be affecting white painted cars. Given the target market for this type of vehicle, you can bet they weren't washed much, or protected in any serious way.I'm sure Hyundai would take umbrage with that statement, since they make their own steel, but for your sake, I hope Hyundai has learned something about rust belt salt and corrosion in the 2 decades since that XG was made, because as I mentioned in this thread or another, they sure didn't in the first decade, because they were still making cars that couldn't stand up to it 10-12 years ago.
There is something about white cars that do that because it's not just Hyundai.I was just reading a story about this yesterday, this is in Australia, so it's not a winter salt based issue. Yeah, over here I know about white Toyotas, blue Fords, green Mazdas, and just about anything in red. But it's almost always cars that have lived out in the elements their whole life. There is something about white cars that do that because it's not just Hyundai.
