I'm considering adding a steamer (McCulloch MC-1275) to and would like to understand how to use the device properly. In the case of the picture shown, how did you apply the steamer? How much time did it take to clean? What considerations should I review in regards to what to should/should not use the device on. Thanks in advance for the info.
With the machine you are talking about, you will not have as much of a problem. The steam from the Dupray is over 300 degrees. I applied it to the front of the tray with a towel mostly covering it. Moved the steam head a little to keep it from being in one spot too long. Once the steam had a chance to dissolve all of the gunk, I wiped it up and repeated. Whole process was only a couple of minutes. The Mc steamer will do the same thing but will take a little longer. As long as you keep it moving, you can use it on most anything. I am careful with the plastic parts on the dash and leather but still use it.
