Ultima Trim and Tire Guard and Ultima Interior Guard....

Don't worry. I am almost there. I'm on the slower happy train to Ultima.

I'm well trained. :)

I missed your BOGO update today. Fridays are just not the same without your BOGO call!
The BOGO update will be next week. Unfortunately they only update every other Friday. Get on the train buddy!

Is that the one that I keep seeing on TV speeding down the tracks loaded with chemicals? :D

I just received my Ultima Interior Guard Plus and had a chance to apply it to every square inch of my interior minus the headliner and seats. :)

I really like this stuff, it does everything it says it is suppose to as far as application, feel and shine.

My interior is brand new and I didn't want a 'shiny' product. I just wanted it to continue looking new and provide some protection. I left a spot untouched on the dash and compared it to the treated areas. There was a very light matte shine to it, I could barely tell. But you knew as soon as you touched it. Treated area was soft and smooth, the untouched areas felt rough, dry and terrible...:D

I probably applied too thick at times, but everything dried without any streaking and no buffing needed. I did the entire truck including the back and Weathertech front/rear floor mats and still barely made a dent in the bottle.

The provided applicator was nice, but a little too big to get into small spaces, so I used a yellow foam wax applicator which worked excellent.

All around an amazing product! I can't wait to see what kind of durability/protection I get out of it.

I used the UIPP this weekend for the first time. I liked it a lot. I like it much more than OPP or 303. I may like the look of DP IP as much or a little more. The DP IP looks like you added something but not as glossy as 303 IMO.

Thanks for the update dispense! I love reading storys about Ultima products :)

Jim, for the life of me I don't know this abbreviation. Whats UIPP? I know as soon as you tell me I'll have a duh moment. :)

Edit: Oops, I just realized you meant UIGP. I'm a little slow tonight. :o Did you use it on anything smooth like leather or smooth plastic? Ahhhhh, I love the feel!

My bad Corey. I meant UIGP. Had a brain fart and thought it waas Protection Plus instead of Guard. I did the Ford and it doesnt have any smooth surfaces to speak of. I noticed the feel yesterday and it is smoother than all others and no hint of residue. Probably the new king. BTW I still use 4 Star Leather Conditioner for the seats. Call me tomorrow please.

Corey and Jim,

I recieved the Leatherique on Monday (thanks Corey for the recommendations). Once I'm home and I have a hot day (it will be 80 this weekend and I'm heading for arctic weather instead), I will give it a shot. Despite 10 years of leather conditioners, these seats need a deep clean and rejuvenation. I have a couple of spots on the driver's seat that may get restained as well.

I'm thinking that once the seats are soft and supple again, I might want to apply UIGP as a longer term protectant. How long after using Leatherique would you consider UIGP? What did you guys use to clean the leather before applying the UIGP?

If you want to stay with the same product line, use Ultima Detail Plus to clean your leather. Otherwise you can use any mild leather cleaner before using UIGP.

Last time I used DP TIC and then a wet (just water) on mf wipedown to clean my leather before applying my UIGP. Of course I thoroughly dried it first. Now I have the Ultima Interior Shampoo (Hint: It's not really shampoo) Its a thin spray (not a thick gel) and I just started using it for interiors. I really love it. Not sure why they call it shampoo. That word stopped me from looking into it for a long time until Jim told me it's not really a shampoo.

Anyway, like Ron said you could also use Ultima Detail Spray.

You can also use Ultima waterless wash or as I mentioned Ultima Interior Shampoo.

I would go with the Ultima Interior Shampoo.

As far as wait time after the Leatherique you don't need to wait but you could give it a couple weeks.

Thanks guys!

I have APC+ and OPC that I can also dilute. Thanks to Jim, I have both the UWW+ and OOC to try. How do they compare to UIS?

how well does this stuff work on matte black stripes on cars?
