Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

I am subscribed to a number of YouTube channels and have gotten a lot of info over the past 7 months away, there is a HUGE world out there, filled with info, never heard of products here and characters. In no particular order:

-Forensic Detailing

-Pan the Organizer

-Scott from Dallas Paint Correction and Luxury Microfiber

-Car Ckeaning Guru

-Apex Detailing

-Auto-Fanatic

Each offers something different and each one is passionate and knowledgeable and I look forward to each and every new video. Not sure where these get the time to do these videos, I know I couldn't do it but I personally might be helping to do some videos for a rather large company in the future. I told them I'm a motormouth so I hope they have someone great at editing, LOL. I'll try to instill my passion into these vids, if and when they get made and hope they offer info and are fun to watch!

Now you'll have to excuse me, I need to check the status of Beadmaker, hopefully it's in the Land of Lincoln by now!
You're forgetting about Sandro from Car Craft Auto Detailing; his videos are the best I've come across on youtube.

I'll check him out

So my bottle of Beadmaker is in the state of Illinois, so I should be getting it by the time I'm off of work on Monday. That said, the weather has decided to change for the worse, so not sure when I'll actually be able to apply it. I'm also waiting to hear about temps and when I can actually apply it, anyone know?

Check out his correction videos, the best!

Just ordered a gallon of Beadmaker on the Cyber Sale. Hope I won't be disappointed :(

Damn Pat, you went more in than me

I mean I'll admit, I'm hooked and got sucked in, what remains now is getting it in my hands and being able to use it down in the garage when we get a warmer day outside so its atleast 50 down in the garage. I can't get answer about the product and temp usage on the lower end so I'm going with 50. I also might have to go to my buddy's graphic shop where I know its heated but even then, 8 hr cure time, what happens when I go from warm work shop to cold air to slightly warmer air?

Ha ha. I did !!! With the sale it was just better to get the gallon. I figured if I liked the 16 oz that I would be ordering a gallon a way.

Time will tell :)

Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Nobody here is or was “bashing” the bead maker product.

No offense, but I really don’t think people here are impressed or even interested in your youtube stats or credentials. This is a detailing forum, not a youtube forum. And just because people here like detailing, it doesn’t necessarily mean they even go on youtube to check out detailing related content. I for 1 spend probably the least of my time on youtube checking out detailing videos.

Sorry to disagree with you, but I watch all the detailing content I find on youtube ;)

Pan has a new video where he answers his viewers questions, 24 of them. He does speak about his ranking and showed an award he received from YouTube.

I see Mike is going to be @ P&S, surely Beadmaker will make an appearance, let's see what he says about it....

He is great for sure. Him and Brian of Apex Detailing are must watch channels.

I stopped following Pan and Dallas long ago. Forensic is not bad. I tend to fast forward through his topics unless it’s really interesting.

Everyone has a favorite, Brian @ Apex always seems to end up on everyone's list and there's a reason for that. Forensic is VERY cerebral and because of his accent he's an easy listen, he's also VERY believable too! Scott released 2 videos a bit ago that are non-detail related, worth a watch and you might look at him differently, I know I do! Pan is positive and for someone who isn't always like that its appreciated.

My favorite is Forensic Detailing but his polishing technique is not very good at all. I mainly watch for the product comparisons anyway. I worry about him becoming more popular and taking bribes to push products. I take all YouTube hucksters with a grain of salt anyway. If there is money involved someone will find a way to manipulate the results. It’s nature.

I used to... But it’s to the point where it seems like everyone’s copying everyone else. Product comparisons seem to be the latest copycat trend. I consider Darren from Auto Fetish the originator of most of what we see today as far as videos made by actual detailers. After a while it becomes repetitive, I imagine that’s why he stopped making videos.

But that’s just my opinion. Content is good for the hobby. The more the better as long as the people enjoy it.

Question....

I just noticed P&S is sold on AG, checked it out and NO Beadmaker, hmmm. Then I noticed the Renny Doyle name and remembered that name on P&S Beadmaker and there it was, LOL. I watched the video by the Rag Company and they said he had no involvement in the product, just showed it to this guy and he liked it, so where does this person's name come in, kinda confusing.

Kind of weird for them to say that. I’ve always understood Bead Maker to be part of Renny Doyles Double Black line of products. I bought the Carpet Bomber more than a half yr. ago and that’s when I was considering the Bead Maker along with his car shampoo because it’s said to able to work both conventional or rinseless. I also thought about getting his Carpet Finisher or whatever it’s called.

Can someone clear this up...if this guy had nothing to do with the development then why is his name on it? I mean it's not going to change my review of the product once I get to use it but I just wanna be clear about it when I give my bbn thoughts on one of the most controversial products to come along since......?

Now you see why I commented about that in the beginning of this thread...

I went back and yes, would like an answer because they did mention this in the video. I mean maybe he picked the color and scent, LOL. Not knocking the product just wanted to know.

Well remember, I said that to you in reply to you asking who was responsible for pushing this product to it’s all of a sudden popularity.. I don’t even think I’ve watched the entire video linked on this thread.

Whether or not they mentioned him in the vid was irrelevant to my initial comment.
