Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Can someone clear this up...if this guy had nothing to do with the development then why is his name on it? I mean it's not going to change my review of the product once I get to use it but I just wanna be clear about it when I give my bbn thoughts on one of the most controversial products to come along since......?

It's called marketing. Paid endorsement, PPC in the case of YouTube, etc.

Question....

I just noticed P&S is sold on AG, checked it out and NO Beadmaker, hmmm. Then I noticed the Renny Doyle name and remembered that name on P&S Beadmaker and there it was, LOL. I watched the video by the Rag Company and they said he had no involvement in the product, just showed it to this guy and he liked it, so where does this person's name come in, kinda confusing.

Well, if I were famous and I had my name on something I would like to have been involved to some degree, that's just me

So it would almost be like saying "Klasse Acts Triple Black Tire Dressing"

Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

I used to... But it’s to the point where it seems like everyone’s copying everyone else. Product comparisons seem to be the latest copycat trend. I consider Darren from Auto Fetish the originator of most of what we see today as far as videos made by actual detailers. After a while it becomes repetitive, I imagine that’s why he stopped making videos.

But that’s just my opinion. Content is good for the hobby. The more the better as long as the people enjoy it.

Well... there is just so much you can say about detailing... and he was making what... daily videos? ;) At some point, even him will run out of things to say ;)

Now a days, I really enjoy Forensic detailing because he goes way farther in his testing than I would ever take the time to do. So there is still good content being produced if you care to look for it. I miss Paul Dalton's videos, no info or anything useful but those were like Detailing porn ;)

It's funny how the thread started with Beadmaker and is now about YouTubers we like or dislike, LOL. Just remember this everyone, creme rises to the top

You ever heard of the George Forman Grill? I doubt George had anything to do with it besides eating the food grilled on it.

I got my bottle yesterday, used it on my cellphone, very slick product...now I have to wait for a slight warm up or get to my buddy's graphic shop to apply it in some real warmth, stay "tuned"!

I used Bead Maker for the first time three weeks ago. Hadn't seen the video until today. Have to admit my reaction was very similar to his. Paint was very slick and the gloss was at a level I had not experienced before. After three weeks of rain and a trip to Pittsburgh in freezing rain, still looks great.
