Last pass

I think I got my technique better
just made some passes with the hd adapt
I made about 5 passes
one with the white pad
the rest with the orange and more pressure

here are the BEFORE

This is what I love too see!!!!!!!

Awesome dude! What did I tell you about the inspection light?!?!?!?!?!

It is one of the most important tools you can have especially not doing it in a well lighted shop or garage.

You can never assume the defects are gone.

Inspection light is the key!

And that used to be my problem when I first started polishing.

I wish I knew alot faster I needed a light like you.

Awesome job man I'm happy for you

Yes I love my inspection light
I got the flex swirl finder light and it does the job even came with a little case

Im going to do the entire hood tomarrow

Im going to tape off with masking tape and news paper because I noticed tiny polish specs on my windsheild and even on the side window

I pressed the pad with polish several times and started on the one setting didnt think id have splatter

I'm also a newbie,, the advice I would give would be to watch some videos on Youtube to watch the correct method of using a Dual Action Buffer/Polisher.

Im about to go buff the entire hood. After I buff Im going to apply a thin coat of Carnauba premium paste wax.

Whats the difference between glaze and polish.
Should I do eirther after the adapt and orange pad?
The paint has a decent shine after the adapt and orange pad.

what will a glaze or polish step do as far as results to the already decent results of the adapt.

I was looking at the test spot and i noticed an orange peel look
It don't look bad im just wondering is this something you can get out with another step or is this just a paint job defect

i started at 11:30 and im still going at it I got one section left on the hood

Im having to do about 4 or 5 passes on one section
