what are you currently watching?

I was brought up watching a lot of British comedy. What I find strange is that many people of my generation or younger simply don't understand or them funny.

Surely one of the funniest moments of Faulty Towers, I can safely say that most of us will have come across a "Mrs. Richard's" at some point. As someone in customer service, I've come across a few over the years.

This clip has my father in hysterics each and every time. If you look carefully toward the end, you can see the actress playing Mrs. Richards is holding back laughter.................

"Fawlty Towers" was one of the programs (or programmes) that we watched together as a family. My favorite episode is probably "The Germans" where Basil has suffered a head injury and keeps unintentionally upsetting his guests (horribly). "Listen, don't mention the war. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it all right." That and the Gourmet Night episode still make me laugh hard enough to cry.

Just watched this. Growing up I had a strong interest in astronomy, which led to many hours watching the night sky, but I never saw anything I couldn't explain. When I was about 10 I was using my brother's telescope to look at Jupiter and it's moons, Saturn and it's rings, and double stars, which my brother and mother doubted, till I showed them pictures in books and star charts. My brother ended up giving the telescope to me, disappointingly his interest veered into astrology, and he's the one that went to university.

And if you want a good laugh, read some of the comments.

Having finished season one, I'm now into season two of Space: 1999. From what I can gather, season two was not as well received by viewers and the cast themselves. Still, I enjoyed it. At the moment, I'm watching one of my favorites from season two, Episode 08 - The Rules of Luton..................................

Dang, super impressed such a young person watching this! I remember having the eagle 1 ship when I was like 8 years old lol.

I'm currently watching Star Trek Lower Decks again since I heard this season coming up will be the last season for the series.

Bob's Burgers!

"Purple Rain Union" episode.

I’m towards the end of season 3 of The 100. Had never even heard of it, but saw the description on Netflix while scrolling.

Quick synopsis; 97 years after the earth is destroyed in a nuclear war, survivors that are in a space station send 100 youth prisoners to the ground to see if earth is habitable.

Is it wrong that I have finished rewatching from start to finish, and now want to go and re-watch it again?

I was born in 1986, so I have no recollection of the event, but for some strange reason I'm obsessed with anything Chernobyl. Most likely the train wreck you can't look away from type of deal. Today's viewing, a documentary on the construction and installation of the New Safe Confinement.

I don't know if you're a book reader, some people aren't, but I read this book a couple of years ago. Very interesting, but it did take me a couple of months to get through, I've usually got 2 or 3 books on the go at the same time.

I'm a sporadic reader, but I'll have to look into that one, thanks.

it's unfortunate with so many smart people that no job (in any profession) is secure these days...

Last night couldn't fall asleep so just clicked thru for some mindless but entertaining content and found it: "Wild Card" starring Jason Statham. Statham may be the featured star but what stole the movie for me was his 1969 Torino GT SportsRoof (fastback). Way cool car that I don't really recall seeing "back in the day". Kind of a blend of a Barracuda and a Mustang fastback with a ram air scoop and some nice styling touches.
