What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

It happens if too much is used. A little goes a long way with the graphene detail spray.

I’ve used it plenty of times with no issues and would recommend it.

Noticed some bird poop on the hood, wiped it down with some QD, but, I made a clean spot. Almost 2 weeks into a Covid lock down, so it's not getting driven much, also no rain, so the dust is just settling all over it. So I pulled it into the garage and gave it an ONR wash. Simple, quick, and satisfying. View attachment 74159View attachment 74160View attachment 74161View attachment 74162

Yeah, but I'll bet you didn't have any MF towels to remove the polishing residue.......:laughing:

Damn! What skinny ass road they taking that down?

Great question. Customer is currently in Hawaii until Sunday, so I’ll ask when he comes over to pick up. I do know that he had his 5th wheel trailer in and said he thought it was going to get stuck.

Ooooo Hawaii. Sounds nice!
LOL yeah, the only time I've seen that bad a scraping is from people off-roading so now I'm curious!

Washed with Griots BS Rinseless, coat of PA cosmic, CP Clarity for the glass and a mix of CP Perl and Tac Systems TireCoat for the tires.

Need to tackle the interior next week.

For those in the NE USA, specifically southern New England, this has been an incredibly frustrating summer....especially for those of us without garages.

July had 19 days of measurable rain. At one point deep into the month, there had only been 3 days WITHOUT rain. I plan my washes the moment the roads are dry and if its supposed to be dry for at least 3 or 4 days. This usually isn't a problem, except this year there have been scattered storms/showers possible almost every day because of the weather pattern we seem to be locked into.

Last night we got the end of Tropical Storm Fred, so I was gearing up to do a touch-up....except that now we might get a touch of Storm Henri Sunday into Monday.

It's getting really old now.

So I took a rare day off and had some time to kill before heading out so I washed the ES. There's a current thread about the Griot's Garage foaming products so I decided to use all 3...foaming surface prep and wash and Poly Gloss. For the wash process I used my CG's foam gun to thr proper amount, rinsed down (great beading after each rinse!) and then the Polu Gloss sprayed out of my designated IK foamer. Letting it dwell in the shade I cleaned the rims with Brake Buster and then rinsed everything down. DAMN the B E A D S Once done I used free flowing water and then dried the car. To finish I used the mini Master Blaster to dry the tires/wheels, door jams, grill and mirrors. I then applied a light coat of Adam's graphene tire dressing.

Now it's time for a shower and head out to get well
