The mid-year is my dream car, coupe only and that's a small block with side pipes, great spec. It's a 65 or 66, can't see the font on the p/s rear corner.

I'm currently in a looooong line at my touch-free wash with the TAOS. This thing is crusty from salt and this is the last above freezing temps for about a week as we're getting hit with a mini-polar vortex starting Sunday morning 
I've got .5 oz of 303 salt wash additive and 4 oz of Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep mixed with a gallon of water. I hate using it while in line because people think I'm weird or ask me about it, right now I've got 2 cars behind me and about 8 cars infront of me

Cleaned the CRV today. Started just after first light trying to beat the rain for the cleaning parts that had to do outdoors. In the following order.
Rinsed the undercarriage with my Eley hose with the cleaning tip.
Sprayed the undercarriage with cleaning vinegar and my IK Pro 2 foamer
Rinsed again with the cleaning tip
Presoaked the exterior with Superior Products Dark Fury and rinsed that off after dwelling
Washed the exterior with 2 bucket and Turtle Wax Slick and Slide
Then pulled it in the garage dried it and wiped down everything with panel wipe
Sealed the exterior with Turtle wax Seal and Shine
Topped that with Optimum Car Wax
Dressed the tires and applied Seal and Shine to the wheels
Cleaned the inside of the windows with the cleaning vinegar
Wiped the interior down with Superior Products Aqua Gloss

It's raining/drizzling today and snow is expected tomorrow so I'm sure they'll be salting. I was on the fence about trying to get a wash in before it got cold again. I decided to spray down the car with some RW while it was wet. Then did a RW with the Griot's ceramic RW. Since the car wouldn't be drying, I did a few panels at once and then dried it off. Used my NRS neoprene gloves to keep my hands warm. They're thin enough to maintain dexterity and did keep my hands warm.
Now the car has a little more protection on it.

Same weather here in OH. Was a balmy 37 degrees so quick low pH foam/rinse, high pH foam/rinse, shampoo foam/rinse…dirty again by time I got home but at least not totally grungy…been a sloppy January.

Beads are back…kind of. With all the grime definitely coulda used a bucket wash but about 15 minutes outside was all I could take.
Have to say if doing all over I’d skip stationary pressure washer and wall-mounted reels and build a cart. So much quicker & convenient to deploy/use.

Drove to the ABC store to find a good bourbon and had to drive through some wet and salty roads. I rushed home and cleaned up the truck. Topped off with PA cosmic spritz and PA high gloss.
No sun pics as it was dark by the time I finished.

Looking good... I remember seeing you were thinking about trading in your 2020 F150 for a new one. I had a '21 model with the coyote and 10 speed transmission. I didn't like it.. i liked the interior but the transmission always acted like it was trying to figure out what gear to be in unless I put it in sport mode. My 6.7 powerstroke doesn't do that.. also that admiral blue is absolutely gorgeous. They don't make a good blue now imo.

Yes I was, but I couldn't figure out what I wanted lol. Im leaning more towards upgrading to a Raptor in Shelter Green.
I just wrote about the transmission on an F150 forum. It is driving me nuts. It is slow and never knows which gear to be in, as you said. Glad to hear that it is fixed in certain models.
Thank you, you are right, chevy doesn't make a good Blue on the Vette anymore. I plan on keeping this one forever now lol.
The motorcycle is a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6-R aka the cheater bike since it is a 636cc. Another toy i won't get rid of. Lol

I think the transmission issues stem from the skipping it does. Going from 2nd to 4th the 4th to 6th etc. And it confusing them.... my '22 F250 started making a clunking when coasting then pressing the accelerator, the dealership told me it was my thermostat. Lol yeah right... it also did the skip shifting but would hold gears.. it had 3.93 in it though. My 24 f350 doesn't skip and does what it's supposed to.. for now.

I've found the 10-speed in my new Mustang to be calibrated pretty well. You do get an impression of it always shifting in Normal mode, and a little slow to kick down. In Sport and Track modes, it seems to shift more logically and offers quicker response to the throttle, nor does it labor the engine by selecting the highest possible gear at any given speed. While the actual shift speed is decent in Sport/Track, I would prefer it to respond quicker to manual inputs, especially when you have so many gears to get through. Oh, and I would like the option to have a current gear displayed on the cluster, this only happens in manual mode. But overall, its been much better than I was expecting, and those rev-matched downshifts are epic.
The 10-speed in the Ranger is a different story. On the previous model, I really don't like how it gear skips, it makes for a less refined driving experience as it labors the engine too much. It's also woefully slow to manual inputs by that stupid rocker switch on the gear shifter. I really don't know why they went with that layout, models fitted with the 6-speed auto had a manual mode using the gear lever in the correct orientation, push forward for a downshift and pull back for an upshift.
On the current Ranger, they seemed to have reverted back to sequential shifting, as in not skipping gears. To me, this is more natural feeling as it doesn't labor the engine as much going from, say, 3rd to 5th. I will say, both previous and current gen Ranger, you can toggle the manual shifter without selecting manual mode, this will initiate a current gear position on the cluster.
Overall, I just wish Ford would stop being so conservative with shift response in manual mode on these transmissions. As I said, the actual shift speed is very good, but they take forever to respond.
