What did you do today non-detailing related?

rode the e-board around the neighborhood park today and ran into a friend from over 15 years ago that i use to skateboard with. he was there with his two teenage sons at football practice. after persuading him to try out the e-board (had ridden a skateboard since then), he gave in and had a heck of a time circling around the park LOL. crazy how time flies and you see old friends with families...
 
The left side of the bumper was starting to rust and pit, so I polished it with Wolfgang metal polish and sealed it with CQuartz DLUX. It was only temporary and I have a confession to make. I changed out the bumper piece and now it’s brand new.

Got the tires rotated and balanced on the ES. A little over 18K and they were at 9/32nds and 8/32nds, pretty impressive

Thanks. Not sure how much the acoustic tiles help but it's really rather quiet. Certainly not bothersome when working. Doesn't run very long either as it does recover quick.
 
Today I worked with my old car and tried to remove broken bolt for a few hours. It wasn't so easy as I thought. I found info on ** about how to do it with tap and die set and as a result I did it using a multi-sized drill bit.
 
Installed this off road x pipe on my c7 corvette

This removes the rear cats and makes it a bit louder.

Congrats to your new car DETAILROOKIE! Rav4 have always been a solid car for many years. And would guess Toyota have keeped the high quality as always on them.

Thank you! I really like the styling of the Rav4, I like the old school rugged box look, and Toyotas never die it seems like.

Ive had a few yota’s and my wife and i still have an 05 sienna with 176,000 k. We bought it with 126,000 and all that ive done is maintenance nothing has failed. It helps i work on all my own stuff so i save alot of money there. Nice purchase of the rav4. Like the color too
