What did you do today non-detailing related?

Fitted a Ford Performance oil separator to the Mustang today. These are OE quality parts that simply clip into place, utilizing existing mounting holes. Not being a mechanically hands on type of guy, fitting this could not be simpler.

Very discrete and OE looking, just the way I like it! :D

Installed Ark Performance mid-pipes and Adro CF spoiler. Woke the exhaust up a tad, nothing like the full Borla exhaust on my 2018 Stinger but the wife is happier. The 22’s come with a valved exhaust system but it’s pretty tame. I think KIA needs the Hyundai N folks to come and help with that.

Yeah loud exhaust with the right tone is a thing of beauty. From a turbo 4, supercharged v6 and a cammed 70’s v8…..i love the sounds.

I have to be on the lookout for those kinds of snakes here too. I’ll never forget when one got in my house at 2 in the morning.

Drank coffee and ate bologna sandwiches!! Hi to all and especially to anyone who remembers me!!

I put my Mustang away for the winter last weekend. Very uneventful drive to my in-laws' about 150 miles away.
The new engine is running great and knocked down about 25mpg.

Mowed the lawns and got out the whipper snipper to do the parts i can't reach
Spring grass needs a good cut every 4 to 5 day's.

Kicked some ball's around for the neighbours working line GSD

Finished up this 2x4 bench
Cut
Glued
Torched
Stained
Gloss lacquer (x4 coats)

Took Friday off. Washed the car and took a drive to the Adams store in Anaheim California.

Helped my neighbour clean some brass 9mm and 357 magnum and kicked the ball around for his German shepherd

My Explorer got a host of new fluids.

Trans and coolant got a drain/fill.
PTU and rear diff got full exchange.

Nothing alarming, but now all fresh for another 40k miles.

While I was under there, I noticed tires are getting down there, so new treads planned before winter hits. Our local Fleet Farm has buy 3, get 1 free for Goodyear Assurance Weatherready tires. They seem to get good reviews and the price is right, so they'll likely be the next tires. I currently have Michelin Premier LTX, and while a significant improvement over the OE Hankooks, they are overpriced in my opinion.
